One thing let it down was the welcome from the reception, there is one lady and every time I have had to speak to her she is miserable.It such a shame as all the others were really friendly but she just had an attitude every time. "Great location. Comfortable room. Generally, this hotel holds so much promise, but one cannot but notice the subtle traces of neglect and an encroachment of disrepair-from reception, to hallways, to the room and bathroom. In all, a fair stay, that could very easily be so much better with a little more attention to detail. The staff were very helpful."

"Still the best place to stay in Poole. Shower was awesome, enough room to get a rugby union team in!!! Great location near the restaurants on the Quay and a ten minute walk from the train station. Deluxe Room was very spacious and had an iron bath in the corner!! However, mattress was too soft and the pillows too 'fluffy'. Just a personal note, but we needed hard mattresses and 'dull' pillows.
