"Although this hostel is a quite cheap place to stay at I absolutely recommend you to think twice before booking. In the shared room THERE ISN'T AC. During summer it's impossible to sleep. If I knew about it before I would stay at a different place for sure. I cannot explain lack of such fundamental deivce in Italy as AC, especially in this region. Bathroom has only access to cold water. Actually it's literally freezing temperature so good luck taking a shower, eventhough outside is 35-40...

"This property is a castle located on a hillside overlooking a beautiful valley. It features a pool, hot tubs and sauna as well as a beautiful dining area. Despite being an old castle, there is a well functioning ventilation system that eliminates any musty or moldy smell one might expect. "The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"

"Quirky property, Castle divided into numerous rental properties with large well tended garden and great views of the Umbrian countryside. You definitely need a car if staying here unless your sole purpose here is walking!
