"Although we have read that the hotel is due to be reburbished in June 2026, for the price of the stay we certainly did not expect the hotel facilities and amenities to be in such a run down condition. On entering the hotel the front doors did not open, not only on this occasion but every time we entered and exited the hotel and several guests were commenting how you needed to to move around. Upon check in we were asked for an email address which had already been provided and upon check out we were asked the email address again. The first set of towels provided were of decent quality, however they were then replaced with an old, very poor quality set. When the room was cleaned on the second day the shower gel was not refilled leaving it empty. We had to ask 3 times for it to eventually be replaced while we waited to have a shower.
The pool area was particularly run down with no shade, hardly anywhere to sit and no food or drink available."
