"We had an amazing week at the Guest House! The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Air conditioning, gas fireplace, washer and dryer, big kitchen - everything was great and thoughtfully laid out. Janis and Martin are excellent hosts and told us to let them know if we needed anything. Their dock was well equipped as well with comfortable chairs, tables, umbrellas, etc. Swimming off the dock in crystal clear water was a highlight. Use of the canoe to paddle over to Fossli Park and hike there was really nice. Paddle boards were also made available for us to use.We were fortunate to have excellent, warm weather and ate outside on the deck every evening and most mornings. It is a 30 min drive to Stamp Falls fish ladders which is great to visit, and only 15 min. drive to Port Alberni if you have to pick up any groceries at any time. The guest house is set back behind the main house with a small view of the lake, but it is still a lovely place to stay. Thank you so much Janis and Martin! "
