Just 10 minutes from downtown PA, yet you'll feel as if you have escaped into your own private retreat. Soak in the hot tub as you gaze across the Strait, or have some excitement in the game room! The cabin is a great spot for exploration of the Peninsula with easy access to Hurricane Ridge and much of Olympic National Park.

The Mountainside Cabin is situated on 2.5 acres of private, forested land with breathtaking views of the Strait of Juan De Fuca. A beautiful drive up the mountainside from Port Angeles town center brings you to the cabin where you feel a million miles from everything, yet are only 10 minutes to the Port Angeles City Pier! The cabin is perfectly located with easy access to Hurricane Ridge Visitor center (41 mins), Marymere Falls/Lake Crescent Lodge (26 mins), Port Angeles town (10 mins), and all the Olympic National Park has to offer.

The layout of the cabin is perfect for family and friend vacations. The main floor has 2 bedrooms and a full bath, fully stocked kitchen, family room with TV, living room with fireplace and a dining area. There is a master loft bedroom with full bath and a beautiful view of the ocean. In the basement, you will find the game room, laundry room and another half bath. Outside the main floor you have a front porch with rocking chairs and a raised back porch with a nice place to sit by the firepit, grill and hot tub. The outside space is peaceful and private with 2.5 acres of wooded seclusion.

The interior of the cabin is tastefully decorated and fully stocked with everything you need to have a great get away. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for easy and delicious meal prep. A coffee bar stocked with coffee, tea and hot cocoa is ready for you use. There is reliable high speed internet for streaming all your favorite shows and movies on the 2 smart TVs in the house. The deck is a perfect place to hang out with comfy outdoor furniture, a fire pit and a hot tub! The game room is designed for fun with a fusbol table, ping pong table and two arcade games! A record player sits in the family room and is so much fun to listen to as you sit in front of the fireplace! We have also set up several great spots to read for the book-lovers in mind!

Just imagine a day at the cabin..... Hang out on the deck with your morning coffee as you watch the ships pass on the ocean. After a fun day exploring the national park, soak in the hot tub or have a cocktail on the deck as you look at the distant lights of Victoria and gaze at the starry sky. Prepare a great meal in the well-stocked kitchen for your family and friends. If its a rainy day, don't worry! Hang out in the game room playing ping pong, fusbol or arcade video games; stream a movie and curl up on the couch with a blanket. Or sit back with your favorite book in the comfy reading nook. As the night winds down, sit by the toasty wood burning fireplace, put on a record and share stories of your adventures in the park!

Other things to note: There are Ring video devices on the front door, back door and looking towards the driveway. There are no interior camera devices. There are no camera devices in outdoor areas where greater privacy is expected. A Minut noise monitoring/ decibel monitoring device is present in the main room- this device detects very loud noises indicating a party may be going on, but doe NOT record video or audio.
