The hotel and grounds were good and the potential to be excellent. Despite this we had a great time away. The restaurant Sugar Cane was fantastic and the Martha’s Market buffet was decent. Night-time entertainment was great and bowling was fun! It would be great if premium alcohol could be added. The pool on the family side was nice and big and always clean.
Downside was the beds and pillows- hard and uncomfortable and pillows were flat or too hard. The Italian restaurant was very disappointing. The staff were very friendly and personable and always wanted to ensure their guests were having a good time.

The resort exceeded our expectations. Dining experiences were amazing. No reservations required except Japanese restaurant. Brand new modern and clean facility. Extremely friendly staff. Service was phenomenal.

"Beautiful property, the gardens surrounding the property are immaculate. This is a classic old hotel with art work in abundance everywhere, classic period furnishings are priceless.
