Beautiful View!

This was a beautiful property. I was a lil worried about it being by the train tracks, but it was very quiet inside the apartment. Would absolutely stay again!

I loved everything about this place. The only minuscule downsides were: the beautiful coffee table that is in the shape of a helm will take your shins out if you’re not careful. #2: In the bedrooms there are two small windows above the main windows that do not get covered by the curtains, so once that sun is up daylight is greeting you 😅 other than that the hosts were amazing. Thank you so much!

Great Place

The Riverboat Paradise suite was a perfect meeting spot for my sisters and I. It had all the needed amenities, but the real selling point was the beautiful view! Noise from the business downstairs does come through the floors, but with the provided white noise machines, it didn't bother us. Overall, we would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Great adorable apartment

Cute, adorable apartment right on the Mississippi River. Apartment came fully equipped, from garbage bags and paper towels to a fully stocked kitchen. The apartment was roomy, super clean and very comfortable to stay in. I was working in the area with 3 other people and we all comfortably shared the apartment for a month. All of us loved the apartment and were happy with the accommodations. The owner was very accommodating and easy to get ahold of, whenever we called with questions he answered right away. Our friends rented the apartment next door and they had a great experience also. None of us have anything negative to say, only great positive things

Relaxing

Very much needed relaxing weekend away. Location was great, right on the water and within walking distance of food/bar/gas station. Even a walking, running, bike path right by. Great space in which we were able to cook, watch TV, sleep in and have coffee on the porch. Would definitely stay again.

Graceland

Very cool, chill, peaceful place. Great atmosphere and drinks downstairs at the bar. There is food all on this Main Street. Just bring some comfy clothes and relax. Great little town and locals are all welcoming. The hosts, here, are fantastic, providing everything you need to enjoy everyday of your stay.

Peaceful river getaway

A little slice of paradise in Port Byron! Super clean with easy access. We loved relaxing on the deck and watching the river. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway along the Mississippi!

Nice Relaxing weekend

Hidden Gem

This suite was perfect for our relaxing getaway weekend. From the views of the Mississippi River to the all the amenities the suite has to offer, it was one of the most comfortable stays we've experienced. We thoroughly enjoyed touring the shops in LeClaire and experiencing all the food and beverage choices of the many spots in Port Byron.

A lovely view of the river

We enjoyed staying at the river house as we explored the quad city area. Wonderful biking trails, easy kayak opportunities with quad city kayaks. The apartment was perfectly set up and supplied with all necessities. Just show up, kick back on the veranda, and enjoy !

awesome little condo in a cool town

We loved the location and the Awesome condo. only tip I would give would be to maybe see if you can add some kind window covering in the bedroom at the top to help block out the early morning sun. we weren't ready to be awake yet LOL. We would definitely stay again.

Mississippi river ride

This year on our annual river ride we decided to stay in one spot and sightsee daily. Port Byron Illinois was a perfect place for us to relax and enjoy the beautiful fall colors. We were also lucky to partake in Oktoberfest. Perfect location to walk to many local establishments. This Beautiful two bedroom condo on the river was perfect and We truly enjoyed our stay.

Just a Really Nice Place To Stay

Super cool, super clean, great location in a super cute area! We had a GREAT time on our relaxing weekend getaway. Being right on the riverfront with a great view through the front windows was pretty great. The bar/coffee house downstairs was fun. :) We're pickleball players, and there were a number of great options nearby. We went to Riverside Park and it was a really nice place to play. Great weather that day too! There were great food options nearby as well. I was super impressed with how clean the place was. It was just a REALLY nice stay and we'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice weekend getaway. A+++ for the Ebay folks. :)

Boating weekend

Such a beautiful condo, location is fantastic. My husband and I rented one and my sister and her husband rented the other condo. Enjoyed going to the coffee shop in the AM and having a cocktail at Blue Suede after a day of boating. Several other bars within walking distance. Nice family restaurant to have breakfast called “Brothers” right down the road. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Quad Cities area, look no further. Highly recommend!!

New and Neat

This property is virtually brand new. Everything is in like-new condition. The host communicates exceptionally well and even reached out to let us know of events taking place nearby. Yes, there are train tracks just a few feet from the deck in the back, but there was only one train that went by during our weekend stay. Moreover, the train was only a few cars long. Definitely not a disturbance. In addition to the wonderful condo, the host owns a coffee shop and bar downstairs. If you are a bourbon lover, they have a fairly incredible selection. The coffee and other cocktails are quite good too. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We had dinner at Tugger's just a half block away. The food and service were quite good. All in all, I would highly recommend the BS (Blue Suede) Suites for a stay in Port Byron.

Exceptional Launching Point for Adventure

The Apartment: beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable beds with soft sheets and warm blankets. It had all the basics and a couple of extras. It was well lit, airy, and had a nice light feel. I know this is a new VRBO and say “great job!” to the owner. A small broom under the sink or a regular one in the washer/dryer closet would be helpful to clean up after meals (especially for travelers with kids). The host was easy to communicate with and both check-in and out were hassle free. The Immediate Surroundings: the apartment is over a cocktail and coffee lounge. There was a warm lively atmosphere going on when the lounge was open. It was obvious on Friday and Saturday night that the lounge was busy, but we were able to watch TV and get to sleep without the noise bothering us. I enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the River a few times when the lounge was closed. As an I forget, when it was open and there were lounge guests on the back patio, it didn’t feel private enough for me to be comfortable hanging out there for a long time. The view was beautiful from the large glass sliding door and full windows that line the side of the apartment overlooking the River. You didn’t have to be outside to enjoy it. On top of that, the dining table was perfectly positioned to watch the River animals and boat traffic. Surrounding area: We enjoy outdoor activities like disc golf, geocaching, and kayaking. When the opportunity for a long weekend presented itself, we looked for an area that we hadn’t explored recently that would let us enjoy some of those things. Port Byron was a great location to launch our adventures from. There were electric outlets (240) at the boat launches, and on Main Street, and the village has a free Level 2 charger. This was great as we traveled by electric car. We spent our days mostly in Iowa kayaking on Lost Grove Lake, visiting the Vander Veer Botanical Gardens, and checking out the shops (Shameless Chocoholic!), museum, and Adventure Lab caches in Le Claire. The Quad Cities had lots of opportunities to do all the fun outdoor things we enjoy and we’d recommend this location to others.

It was a beautifully decorated condo! My bad for reading it was "upstairs" but not asking questions. My husband & I are in our mid-seventies & when we opened the door to go upstairs we saw it was REALLY upstairs. 20 steep steps to the door of the condo that were quite daunting to carry our luggage up. I have had 2 knee replacements & can do stairs but these were difficult. We also both have cpap machines & there was only one bedside table & lamp & had we not brought extension cords we would have had trouble getting plugged in. We loved being able to walk around the town to dinner and drinks and then dessert! There were millions (literally!!) of no-see-ums (small biting bugs) outside on our deck at night & we weren't able to sit out & enjoy it. I think all previous renters of this lovely condo were YOUNG!!! We would not rent it again, as lovely as the town is & the condo itself because of accessibility.
