We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It's a comfy and cozy space that worked well for our week stay. It was super clean, had a great kitchenware and a comfy bed with lots of pillows. The location was perfect for us as it was easy access to everything in the northern and southern area of Graham Island. We had a lot of fun cycling and exploring around Port Clements. We highly recommend this private home.

We loved the washer and dryer. It was very clean and the kitchen area well planned for a small space. We even had a lovely tuxedo cat who visited every day! Within walking distance of town. Had a great vibe!

We had such an amazing time staying here! The loft was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed. The kitchen lacked for nothing and it was so nice to have our own washer/dryer after especially wet days exploring. Cath was quick to reply to any questions or concerns and gave us some great local suggestions of things happening in town to do. We would absolutely stay here again on a future trip!

The Yakoun Lodge was great, small but very comfortable and included a kitchenette, which was great for cooking some of our meals. It’s easy to get groceries in Skidegate, Port Clements and Masset. The location in Port Clements was excellent for travelling up and down Graham Island to Masset, Skidegate, Daajing Giids, and Sandspit areas. Hosts were very nice and checked on us via text message and phone to make sure we had everything we needed. The bathroom included a washer and dryer which was very useful because the 4 nights we stayed on Haida Gwaii Island was part of a longer 3 week tour for us.

The suite was well equipped with necessities and the washer and dryer were great additions. It is a great central location, especially if you were wanting to hike the shipwreck hike.OK Marilyn Unfortunately, the bedroom had no window or exterior door, so we were uncomfortable staying there. There were also no screens on the windows, and we wanted to have them open for the fresh air, but that allowed insects to come into the suite.

Nice clean place with well equipped kitchen. Fantastic to have a full washer and dryer in the bathroom. Screens on all windows so could open windows no problem. Can walk down the street to the Axe and Anchor restaurant for a delicious dinner. Central location on Haida Gwaii, 1 hr north to Masset and Tow Hill and 45 mins south to Skidegate. We took the 20 min ferry from Skidegate to Alliford Bay to explore Sandspit and surrounding area. Host was very friendly and good at communicating. Only complaint was the excessive water in the front yard you had to step thru to get to the stairs to the unit. Host says they are in the process of fixing. Hopefully will be fixed sooner rather than later.

Check in was easy. The online pictures are accurate. It was a very comfortable place to stay. We liked having our own laundry facility, and a full kitchen. The street was quiet, an easy walk to water and the nearby pub for meals. I'd recommend this to anyone. The hostess, Cath, was very helpful, and even did a trip with us showing us the northern popular spots to visit, and a market that was happening one day. We really enjoyed Port Clements, and this accommodation.

This property is centrally located with many sites within easy driving distance on Haida Gwaii. A nearby wharf is within walking distance, great for an evening stroll. The Loft is quiet, and the kitchenette has enough amenities to cook meals and prepare lunches. Having the washer and dryer is a bonus! The shower is full size. The owner, Cath, is available to answer any questions and is there to help. The loft is suitable for a couple or 2 friends with a separate bedroom and a futon as a second bed. A friend and I stayed for 4 days. We were very pleased with the Loft. Please note, there are stairs to climb up to the Loft, so you must be mobile enough to climb stairs each day. Since we are quite active, this posed no problem for us. I would certainly stay at the Loft if I ever visit Haida Gwaii again!
