Our first room was very tired with stained carpets and old tvs. They were kind enough to move us to a refurbished unit which was much better though no wifi for the whole stay unless you were close to the main area. It looked nice for families with a nice big pool.

Very comfortable rooms. Handy having a separate bedroom and living area with a baby. Same with having a washer/dryer and a kitchen. Fun games area with pool, table tennis and darts. Pool was nice. Where the property could be improved is the food. Breakfast was fine but lunch and dinner lacked a bit. Was a a bit disappointing. But the stay was great.

The area is very private, surrounded by beautiful gardens and ponds with lotus flowers and water lillies. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Many day trips pick up at the property and it's only a short drive to town or the marina

Wonderful - have stayed before and will stay again. Had pool view room and close to restaurants and pool . Awesome pool and pool bar. Room clean and very good size and beds comfortable . Staff all very friendly and dinner in restaurant was perfect.

I want to go back, it was a beautiful resort!

The Oaks Resort is a beautiful resort. The staff are all friendly, polite, helpful and professional. The rooms are private, clean, spacious, well equipped with clean bathrooms, comfortable beds and comfortable living areas. We stayed in a hotel room and a one bedroom apartment on our stay. The pool, bar, outdoor areas, games area were all very well presented and made for a very enjoyable stay. The restaurant had a delicious assortment on their menu and we enjoyed dining there. I we would highly recommend this resort and would love to stay there again in the future. Thanks for a memorable holiday!

The room was just to simple for the price. I got just one hand towel, 2 bath towels, none bath mat. I had to send my husband to collect at the reception area.

A lovely place. Quiet, tranquil and tropical but pillows lacked substance. Shower screen needs attention around metal and generally needs painting and new curtains. Getting a bit tired and dated.

Had left it late to book accommodation in Port Douglas and there were very few places available. I wouldn’t normally have picked Oaks since it is a few kilometres from town. But I was pleasantly surprised. My room was really clean and quiet and overlooked rainforest. The hotel pool area was also lovely. The hotel had a great little restaurant with good food options and relaxing ambiance, overlooking the pool. All in all, a very pleasant experience and I would stay here again.

I was disappointed with the resort. It was very much in need of a tidy up, the room was aged and there were signs of mould on the roof. The staff were unhelpful and our housekeeping was really hit and miss. I will not return
