The back yard is fully enclosed, and the front yard is fully enclosed from the backyard making it very SAFE for your pets .
Short walk to the main street and restaurants.
Paved outdoor area with bbq, and outdoor setting.
The property is fully enclosed making it suitable for groups with children and pets.

The en suite bathroom has a large walk in shower, whilst the 2nd bathroom has a shower over a bath.

The house is centrally heated to keep you cosy in winter.

THE WHITEHOUSE has 2 queens sized beds, 2 singles and a sofa bed
Linen is provided, however you do have the option to bring your own. The whitehouse is a period home renovated and fully equpped to provide you with all you need to make your holiday a memorable one. Each living area has a t.v. The main living area has a large t.v. and a dvd player.

there are lots of games, bikes, movies, a full size table tennis table, play station 2 and games, fishing hand reels, boogie boards, books to help entertain the children. when you arrive home from a big day of exploring and your exhausted (and the children still have energy to burn) the children can amuse themselves whilst you have a well deserved break.
WE HAVE 3 CHILDREN AND WE KNOW THAT FEELING VERY WELL!!!!!

there are boogie boards, fishing gear, a table tennis table and lots of games, puzzles, books and dvds to help entertain the children. JUST ADDED- PLAY STATION 2

Dear guest, We welcome pets at our cottage. We fully support those who hate leaving their best friends behind, but we also wish to maintain a comfortable environment for others. It is very important to us that NO PETS ENTER THE BEDROOMS, bathroom, or get on the furniture. If you have children with you please ensure they also understand this rule so they can keep doors closed etc. Dogs are not to be left unattended when inside the house. The cottage is fully fenced and you can wash your dog outside if required. We would really appreciate your assistance with minimising hair build up on the carpet. This is best achieved by giving the cottage a quick vacuum each day. All pet evidence is to be removed from the premises prior to departure. And finally, it is a good idea to bring your pet's own bedding.

We were in Port Fairy for the marathon festival. The house was in a perfect position with only 600m to the start line and town centre. Once we got to the property we didnt need the car everything was close. The house was beautiful, stunning kitchen and outdoor courtyard

Home away from home. Had everything you needed. I found the couch uncomfortable but the main problem was the lack of hot water in the shower. The kitchen water was very hot but not the showers ? The owners said the plumber wasn't answering their call and then offered the house next door to shower in, but this was not really practical. Won't go back.

We had a wonderful time. The house is so well set up for families with the 3 bedrooms down hall with a door to close of off to noise, 2 living rooms again with doors to close off each area and a large spacious meals area with a really well equiped kitchen that overlooks a fully fenced yard. The garage is loaded with bikes, table tennis table and balls while the house has books, board games, puzzles, DVDs, and a PlayStation 2 with games. We were lucky enough to enjoy the new ducted heating to keep us cozy. It's only 2 blocks from Main Streets in town and 1 block from laundry mat for when we needed a dryer . The house is so pretty, the photos really don't reflect how lovely it actually is. Our kids didn't want to come home. We look forward to going back.

Outside appearance very sad. Front steps in a sad state of disrepair. Plants on the way to the outside clothesline were like a jungle, the whole garden really. Access to shower with glass entry, refused to open. Lack of Smart TV! No WiFi - in 2024. We are in our late 70's and visited The White House 10 yrs.ago. Apart from kitchen update, no change. We left 1 day early. LAST VISIT for us. Not a blade of grass for our 12 yo lab. For the Tarriff charged, a big disappointment.

No value at all for money. Ensuite shower is nothing but fine mist the shower head is so corroded etc main bathroom not much better Bedding is old and tired. Pillows desperately need replacing Front stairs rotting and rear steps dangerous especially when one is on crutches Basic items in kitchen would be good. Eg salt, pepper, oil oil etc Guest folder is old dirty and out of date as are the hundreds of brochures etc Heating kept coming up advising it needed servicing Not overly clean Really disappointed

Stayed one night at the White House in Port Fairy as part of our Great Ocean Road tripHouse was in great location We could walk into town for all the shops & cafesIt is full of character If you want really modern bathrooms/showers and luxury accommodation feel don’t stay here But we loved it because it is full of history and takes you back to the time of the early settlers Very clean and the beds were very comfyPort Fairy is a wonderful place to stay with beautiful walks out to the lighthouse We went very early and came across a family group of very tame swamp wallabies - magical!

We really enjoyed staying in the White House, our dogs were very happy in the courtyard and garage, and we had lots of spaces where we could relax and unwind. The property is a great location to the main street and very comfortable.

The Whitehouse is great for a family stay. We were happy with all aspects and were able to bring our dog. Beds were very comfy and amenities were great. The only disappointment to our granddaughter was the lack of a spa as advertised. It is a short walk to town and a 5 minute car ride to the beach. The outdoor area is very pleasant and very safe for children and pets. Would definitely recommend a stay in this beautiful part of Victoria.
