"Great view - room was clean, quiet, right on water. Deck looked a bit scary but we did walk out on it with care."

"Property clean though obviously on this lodging is on the older side. Staff friendly & helpful. An in-room refrigerator made occasional (electrical? mechanical? not sure) sounds throughout the night that were noticeable but not sleep disruptive. Room prices were good for such accommodation. I would book here again."

"Super friendly welcome and easy check-in. Room was spotless and bathroom had been updated; bed was comfortable and climate control worked. Hospitality included free snacks in the lobby, as well as free soft-serve ice cream. Breakfast included make-your-own waffle and make-your-own omelette stations. Perfect summer weather allowed us to eat outside on an attractive and well-maintained terrace. The array of potted flowering plants by the front door was a nice touch. No elevator, but that wasn't an issue for us. We'd happily stay there again."

"To me this was a unique building with an interesting history. There is an art gallery inside and works of art throughout the lobby etc. that is definitely worth viewing. My bed was good. Some cobwebs on the pipes near the ceiling. Came with a little spider in the bathtub - was not an issue but for some maybe. Note that there is no a/c in the room that I had. The hotel is right on the ocean so unless there is a major heatwave inland, no a/c would rarely be a problem for most people imo."
