"Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!"

"The view is amazing. Each day we saw seals swim by. There is a resident eagle who would sit out on the sand right outside the window. Our grandson watched him dive and get a fish. What a thrill. We found sea glass and enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets. Maria our host was attentive and very helpful. Definitely met all expectations."

"What a beautiful, thoughtfully constructed cabin! It had all the amenities you could want. Lots of great information about the area. We had thought it would be a little closer to the beach but the walk really wasn’t too bad. The road noise was a bit irritating when you hanging out outside but didn’t affect our sleep. "The property's best feature is the amazing view. The area is nice and the house had lots of books, lamps, kitchen supplies and things to make it comfortable. Vacasa is another story. Very difficult in their correspondence and an unusually early check out time of 10 am. When asking for check out at 11 am, I finally heard back and they offered 2 pm for an extra charge! Rip off. Never was connected to the hosts, just Vacasa reps."

"Although this place doesn't look like much, I found the accommodations to be exactly as expected. The property we stayed in was in good condition and was quite clean. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchenette was sufficient enough for me to cook some of our meals while there. It is unfortunate though that only three of the cottages look to be in reasonable shape to rent out.
