"The space was clean and modern, with all the amenities you'd need (air con, hot water, etc.) Guy-Pierre and his wife were really lovely hosts who made us feel welcome and helped us with anything we needed. Location was peaceful with a big supermarket and little market a 5 minute walk away, and a beautiful beach with lots of walks was also 5 minutes away! The wifi was quite slow, especially when there were lots of people using it, but 4G worked ok. Thanks for having us!"

"We had a lovely restful vacation at Les Vanilles. Clarisse is an excellent host, very welcoming and helpful. The gite is just right for a relaxing holiday for a couple- quiet, comfortable, and well located for exploring the Deshaies area & west coast of Basse Terre. "The villa for our 6 person group was perfect - large and the decor was lovely. Kitchen was modern and well-equipped. Everything was very clean. Private pool is small. Restaurant dinner fare was delicious. Staff were helpful and many spoke English. Room refresh must be requested. Carrefore grocery is a short 6 minute drive (closed Sundays). Would absolutely stay again."
