"Jerri was very communicative and helpful. We arrived on Thursday greeted by our driver, Dray, at the airport who gave us some interesting facts as we drove across the island to the East end. George, our private water taxi driver and groundskeeper greeted us at the water taxi spot and boated us over to OakRidge Cay. Mabel greeted us at a beautifully maintained main house where the 6 parents slept and a guest house where the 4 young adults slept. There is an ocean pool out front where the view was exquisite! We then spent some time next door at the Reef House Resort and Restaurant. We drank some tasty island drinks and highly recommend the monkey lala drink! Played some cornhole while Mabel, Dottie, and Sammie cooked a wonderful dinner for us. In fact we were treated to the most outstanding island food all week by these great ladies! Excursions to West Bay and Camp Bay beaches were great as was the mangrove and island tour. We did some fantastic snorkeling around Roatan too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back in a couple of years!"

"100+ cruisers filled the beach eating, drinking, splashing, and buying trinkets. Then at 4:00 they all got on their busses back to their ship, leaving me in a deserted resort. Perfect combo of people watching and solitude."

"My stay at Ocean View was an unforgettable experience, made truly special by the administration, a lovely and kind couple (Edgar and Yulissa) who run the hotel with genuine warmth and attentiveness. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel right at home and were even given a choice of rooms. Throughout our visit, they went out of their way to check on us daily, offering friendly conversation and making sure all our needs were met. Their kindness and hospitality were so exceptional that by the time we left, we didn't just feel like we were leaving a hotel, but like we were saying goodbye to family. The views from the hotel are simply spectacular. The panoramic scenery, including a clear vantage point of Coxen Hole and the cruise ship port, provided a beautiful backdrop to our mornings and evenings. The food at the hotel restaurant was always delicious (with beautiful views from the restaurant as well). We especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, with the traditional "tipico" breakfast being a particular highlight. It was the perfect way to start each day in paradise. "La estancia en el hotel fue muy placentera en cambio el hotel ocupa mejorar muchas cosas tales como servicio de Maleta de la recepcion para la habitacion , las habitaciones ocupan tener un espejo en el cuarto y un telefono para poder llamar a la recepcion . El transporte demasiado caro no cobran por viaje cobran por persona , hicimos varias actividades en la isla tales como el buseo y sacar la licencia de Buso, tambien hicimos los ATV , los jet ski y los Zipline cada y los Dolfing cada viaje salio mas de $170 el dia les menciono que es solo para que puedan mejorar el servicio , el champu y el Condicionar deben ser separados . "

"My stay at the Reef House was exactly what I wanted. It has the old Roatan charm to an old dive shop that has the most welcoming staff I have ever met. From the owner Davey to Keith the IT/Bartender and the friendliest cook staff that makes great down home cooking. David the dive master has been out on the reef longer than most have known about Roatan. He knows some really cool places to see."
