"If peace and serenity are what you are looking for, Barefoot Cay Resort is ideal. As a boutique resort with a limited number of accommodations you can easily avoid the crowds. Although there were a few other guests, my wife and I felt like we had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed sitting on the beach and snorkeling off the pavilion with no distractions. Relaxing on the pavilion, feeling the breeze and listening to the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks after snorkeling was so relaxing. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. "

Access to paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkeling. We never lacked for anything. Danielle gave us the best tips on what to see and where to eat. The breakfast was always delicious. Happy Hour drinks, food when we wanted to eat there 10 out of 10. Thank you for everything!!"

"Me and my wife both really enjoyed our stay at this property. The hosts were super welcoming and informative on your arrival and live close by if you need or have any additional questions. The house was nice and clean and had all of the basic necessities needed for an enjoyable stay at the property. It felt really safe the whole time we were there and the place and surroundings were super quiet. The view to the beach, ocean and dock were amazing. Its definitely in a more quiet area of the island and we appreciated that very much. Would absolutely stay here again and its not even been 24 hours and we already greatly miss Roatan. "Staying on this east side of the island, away from the busy west side, was very relaxing. We were all able to relax on the deck, watch the ocean, and soak in the Honduran mountains. The experience provided us with much needed down time. When we take vacations, it's the people that we remember the most. Mabel and Samantha made amazing meals while George made our kids laugh. They are all so accepting. Lastly, Jerri provided the quickest responses that I have ever experienced from a VRBO host. Roatan will not be forgotten. "
