Lovely beach house

One of the best equipped kitchens we’ve ever stayed in! The whole place was clean and very comfortable. A short walk to the beach and pool but not too bad with a wagon to put chairs in.

Wonderful stay on the cape!

Our time at the cottage was incredible! The place had everything we needed and more. Access to the beach and the pool was just a short walk away. The Vacasa team was helpful and responsive to any questions that came up and made sure that we were taken care of.

The house was cozy & so clean & nice! It was a perfect stay! The neighborhood was quiet & relaxing! The walk to the beautiful beach wasn’t bad at all! The surprise beach family vacation for my mom

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house in Cape San Blas! I decided last minute to surprise my mom with a family vacation, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The beach was stunning, and we spent so much time enjoying the sun and sand.The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for our family of four. The pool was a great addition, providing a perfect spot to relax in the afternoons. We made wonderful memories together, and my mom was thrilled with the surprise.I highly recommend this rental for anyone looking to escape to a beautiful beach destination. We had a great time during our stay at this property! The house was exceptionally clean , beds were comfortable, the kitchen and living room were spacious. The house is only a 5 minute walk to the beach, which is beautiful! We will be back. Only complaint is the outside landscape and deck need some cleaning up.

Cute house close to beach

An older house but impeccably clean and all the channels you could want when not outdoors doing beach things. Easy walk to beach with a clean and cute community pool. Does not have much of a back deck but a nice screened porch. Kitchen is equipped with the basics. Drawbacks were that the door code was incorrect so it took a few minutes of calling vacasa to get that fixed. The majority of the mounted lights on the outdoor stairs did not work and the refrigerator light was out. The wifi key and password in the house book and vacasa pamphlets inside house were outdated, so go with the ones they send you with your reservation email. Cape San Blas is quiet without many attractions, which is exactly what we were looking for, so plan ahead for groceries and such. St. Joseph State Park is just beautiful and the beaches pristine. A great house for a relaxing beach stay.

great house in Boardwalk community

We enjoyed our stay. The PROs: kitchen had good collection of serving dishes; screened-in porch was a great place to sit and work; the back deck with the outdoor shower served well to hose off our dog after beach play; the couch is big enough that 2 people can easily nap at the same time; we really like the Boardwalk community. Things future renters might want to know: the 2nd bedroom is listed as Queen but it's actually a full size mattress (we measured it). There are no kitchen towels. NONE. There was a brand-new sponge but nothing to use to dry dishes. I thought that was really weird. My parents came to join us for a couple of days and my mom brought us some of her older dishtowels. Also there is one bar of soap per bathroom so if you forget to pack your own, you have to keep moving the soap from sink to shower or buy more.

Great house but ….

We loved the decor and set up. Perfect space for 2 adults and 2 teens. Kitchen had just about everything to make 3 squares. However, the things we didn’t like… Given wrong door code. While it was basically clean, cobwebs with dead bugs on window over kitchen sink. 2 of 3 bulbs in bathroom didn’t work. Called Monday, they dropped some off Wednesday afternoon. Bring your own extra linens. Of the 11 bed pillows, 5 had pillow cases. Thankfully more bed linens plus bath mats were delivered Monday. On our last day discovered water leaking from hall light fixture. 3 and a half hours later maintenance guy shows up to unplug ac drain. All while ac off. Lastly outdoor lighting is just weird. Lots of motion sensor light with 30 sec stay on. Spots never worked, never fixed after several requests. Most lights on stairs never worked. Very dark at night. While we liked the cottage, more attention to cleaning and maintenance is a must.
