The pool was closed which was disappointing and no prior information on the website. Also, they said complementary breakfast and they didn’t have anything. Plus it was loaded with homeless people and people on drugs. I was very scared of the location, there was no security. At night i kept seeing lights flash our room and people talking but we were the last room on the floor. Also, some homeless person was showering in the bathroom bu the lobby, made it seem like just anyone off the street can come in and roam the hotel. It was definitely an eye opener i will be staying further from this location next time.

Close to Portland international airport

Great location and the housekeepers are wonderful. If you're trying to get to the Portland international airport this is a very convenient location I'm also close to the transportation which would be a public transportation the bus and Max which will take you to the Portland international airport

Not great.

In a crappy part of town. Homeless man sleeping in his completely packed to the brim nasty car in the parking lot. No food anywhere nearby. Closest restaurant or fast food at least 7-10 minutes away. Bed and pillows were comfortable though. Room was clean.

This will definitely be my first & last time staying there. The service from the get go was rude. The toilet needed to be replaced, the bed was dirty because we itched laying in it, & the doors were not opening w/ the keys. Hotel needs to work on service & quality!

The comfort inn suites had bed bugs and I had to throw away all my clothes and shoes and everything else I brought from Seattle I will never come out there again period and I’m still waiting on my money back

The room did not have a working a/c unit, the ice machines on both floors were broken, the area around the hotel is full of garbage, and we were locked out of the room because the door lock was not working, and had to wait 10 minutes for the front desk clerk to get back, and when he did he smelled like marijuana. Every time I needed something, even checking in to the hotel, the front desk clerk was no where to be found, happened 4 times

I don't care what the politics are of an area when they didn't have the Fox News Channel on their TV for some reason I am no longer golng stay at this location. This is going to be a policy of The Choice hotels system, them I will no longer be using choice hotels.

Dissapointed

I had called from Japan to make sure about their Airport Shuttle. The desk clerk informed me when I asked that it ran every 1/2 hour. He never told me that you needed to CALL them to get it. We waited in the cold for about 40 minutes and then an airport worked helped us and called. It then took a good 10-15 minutes before they arrived. To us this is Very bad Service. None of the info that I could find on the internet stated that you needed to call and neither did the Desk Clerk. It seems as though there has been a change of management at this hotel since we were there in April 2019. Everything has tended to go down hill. We love the location since it is very convenient to get around Portland by MAX and bus lines. We hope that there are improvements coming to this hotel. They also need to do some upgrades to improve the facilities. Everything seems to be getting run down. The Housekeeping Staff is GREAT and always helpful. Jus tmaybe it there was a total change in management and repairs made, then more people would be pleased.

I was very happy with my room. The price was so reasonable so I wasn’t sure what to expect but the room was very clean and quiet which are the.two most important things. Free breakfast in the morning was an added plus. Oh and wonderful food and service for dinner at the Elmers next door! Happy I stayed here!
