The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was tiny but I knew that when I booked the Snug option. It was good enough for a solo traveler. Bed was super comfortable. I loved the roof top bar, and the coffee shop in the hotel lobby.

I really liked my stay and especially appreciated the valet staff. Food was great at the restaurant near the lobby, but didn’t get to try the tacos on the rooftop restaurant. Will try to the next time I stay. If you are noise sensitive, try not to get room facing the street. I forgot my ear plugs and heard cars blaring music and people on the street shouting. That was only thing that marred my time here, but it won’t hold me back on staying again.

Every single person I encountered who worked at the hotel was absolutely lovely - extremely friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Otherwise, I was disappointed. The room was small and smelled funky. There were no closets or places to store clothes. The pillows were cheap foam. Overall, the room was not at all what I expect in a 4-star hotel.

I booked the shoebox and it was a decent sized space for one person. The twin sized bed was comfortable and the bathroom was decent sized. There’s no chair, so I did have to sit on the bed to do everything. That’s the only issue with the room I had. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping left the sweetest note and had the radio on the jazz station which really set the vibe. Definitely book a reservation with Panama for brunch and with Tope for dinner. You won’t be disappointed.

The electric kettle in the room was broken and the air conditioner made a loud dripping noise all night. But the hotel was cute, staff were helpful, and we had a good breakfast the next day. Not really worth the exorbitant parking fee or additional $30 hotel fee charged. But it has potential.
