It was both comforting and delicious. The place was beautiful and historic, and my room very peaceful. And the fact that there is live music 36 5 days a year is brilliant!"

"We loved everything about our stay. Lots of attention to little details in restoring this comfortable, historical farmhouse into a great getaway retreat. Facilities for campers, glampers and 3 comfortable, cozy upstairs bedrooms. A great eclectic library (everything from Keith Richards to the original Winnie the Pooh collection!) And ...the "Dutch Baby" breakfast was a real highlight! Thanks!"

"Loved it, was probably the best motel I've ever been to. The staff is very friendly, and there is a very nice canal in the back. There is a bar in the lobby as well full of townies, and the rooms are nice. This is the place to stay if you're in the area."
