Clean and comfy room! Breakfast was amazing! Gym was great, but be aware its used by locals and they weren't super welcoming. The pool/spa area was crawling with loud kids (again locals use this as a leisure club too), so we avoided that.

The Heritage is by all rights a 5 star, not a 4 star hotel. The rooms, property, and staff are all top notch! The only issues I encountered are beyond the control of the Heritage -- There are not enough taxis (I travelled to/from The Heritage by train) and if you are planning to use one, for instance, to make rail connections, plan well ahead and reserve a taxi if possible. The other thing that would be nice is if there were more dining options nearby -- But again, this is beyond the control...

Beautiful old house with large bedroom. Very comfortable bed (one of the best out of 14 hotels) which was much needed due to the jet lag. Wonderful staff and walkable village shops and pubs

The hotel is a true old world charm property set in a very peaceful and serene environment. The property is well maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. The bed especially is very comfortable. The food and service is also excellent even though it is very full at weekends as it is a popular wedding and event property. There is a true commitment to quality and sincere warmth in both staff and housekeeping.

This was a great place! The car park was around the back of the building with plenty of spaces. The room was clean and well maintained and the bed was comfortable. We ate in the bar restaurant and the food was delicious. Our waiter, John, gave us excellent advice on things to see and do in the area and Trish, one of the managers, went above and beyond with hospitality. Iād definitely stay here again.

This is a very nice hotel. The staff was great, the rooms clean, and breakfast was awesome. The parking garage is tight, so be careful. If you driving a bigger car, you might want to park on the street.

Beautiful property and a good place to refresh after a long flight. Quiet, owners were nice, and scones waiting for us upon arrival. 'True Ireland' location.

The Lodges are perfect for a family. We were a party of 5 and we got a 3-bedroom lodge facing the golf course. Fully-appointed kitchen, washing machine, and common room with large dining table. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hotel staff were fabulous as was the food at the clubhouse restaurant. The views of the castle whilst we ate were stunning.

Very simple and pleasant place to stay. Our room and the whole facility we saw were impeccably clean. Beds were comfy. Room was comfortably warm (even tho it was howling outside with freezing rain pelting down in sheets!).
We would stay here again happily.
Additional note: I suspect Tullamore is overlooked as a town to stay and explore. Itās a cool *old* town that retains its character. Blue Eyes Bakery became a favorite spot for us. Excellent food/pastries. And absolutely *superb* coffee!

Free parking. Amazing location in town. Friendly staff. The room was large. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was really good. Breakfast was included and excellent. Only bad thing was the view out our window.

Coming from the states with extensive travel experience, I can say that it is shocking to have a hotel where every feature feels like the main feature. The restaurants and bar are self sufficient - they do not seem to need the hotel to exist, very uncommon in my experience. In fact, it was clear that there were regular customers there, making me feel very at home. To that point, the staff was extremely courteous and informative of local events.
