I recommend the guest room. I felt comfortable in the place, very nice friendly and professional workers. I loved the view from the living area of each floor and the balcony. I wish my room had a view too. The restaurant was amazing, healthy and delicious food. The best meal i had in Portugal.

The property was convenient to most places. Room very small and very very loud. Small children running up and down the hallway and noise from the restaurant and bar was bad. Room was pretty shabby and curtains were broken upon our arrival. Luckily wee weren’t there long. Mostly frustrated by the scam of being asked to pay the city tax again after we already paid upon arrival. Anything with a link to PayPal is fraud in my opinion. Restaurant is good

Alright but not great

The stay was great but the room could be a little bit more cleaner, for the price I paid I don’t think it was worth that amount at all, good thing is it was really local and close to the night life areas and shopping centre but the rooms were not what I expected and a bit poor.

We were thrilled with our choice of Alibi for our hotel in Porto. Great location and phenomenal service. Extremely reasonably priced when we were there in June. The room we had was very basic (no view) but it was very comfortable, quiet, clean, and cool. The shared balcony view made up for the lack of one from our room. Ricky the concierge/manager was stellar: friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Couldn't recommend this hotel more. The view from the shared balconies was awesome. While we didn't eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant we did have an excellent breakfast every morning there including some of the best croissant and pastel de nata we've ever had. The only very minor "issue" was a lack of drawers into which one could unpack. Great location -- close to sights, shopping, and many excellent restaurants. Excellent service. Spectacular view. Great price.

The location is perfect, very close to everything. The check in process was super simple and we were provided lots of details about the area, what to see and where to go. The room itself was very clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. The only thing that was missing was a safe. Also, the building is quite noisy - we were able to hear guests in the room next to us snoring and noise from the restaurant below. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and made to feel like a truly valued guest. The hotel’s manager went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and stress-free. Whether it was helping with local recommendations, making sure every detail of my room was perfect, or simply checking in to see how things were going, their genuine care and attention made a lasting impression. The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and offered everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I will absolutely be returning!

Nice spacious room, clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Roof top with the city view was an added bonus. 5 min walk to Sao Bento train station, 7 min walk to Lello library, the property has a bar and restaurant downstairs, there a multiple restaurants close to the hotel, close to a small grocery, 5 min walk to Timeout market, 5 min walk to living tours.

The hotel is at the top of a steep hill (but so is most of Porto). Really good communication (with Carla the manager) before arrival. Room was quite narrow and dark (L-shaped) at the back of the building and there wasn't a safe but otherwise all good.

Wonderful place to stay, very central to everything, Ricky was terrific as a host and the breakfast we had the last day in the restaurant downstairs was lovely. My only complaint is that it was difficult to access from a car and parking had to be at a nearby parking lot. But that is the situation in historic city areas. I would definitely stay here again.
