Room was clean, but very very small. Location is in a residential area up in the hill and not in a walkable distance to main attractions. You definitely need uber, your own car or be knowledgeable to public bus. Room windows were towards a high traffic street. The mattress was in poor conditions, it was all inclined towards one side, like sleeping in a hole. Checkin experience: no one is expecting you, everything is via whassap, even to provide personal documentation. Then, you will have to pay 4 euros p/ person in cash at departure, way more than 4 star hotels throughout the country and no staff on premises! All that information should be adviced to guests before booking, to set them up for expectations.

The place is a scam. First, its advertised as "free parking". Actually its not true - its parking on the street, firstcome first served, and when we came there was no parking at all. There was no parking nearby either. Second, when we got to the room we were shocked, its bwlow any moderatestandatd, not even a hostel level, terrible: tine, a small shoer where a person can hardly fit in the room and a washroom all on hand distance. We contacted the owners right away about parking first and then about the room, but did hear from them. We also sent them photos, showing that the photos on the website apparently are not of the room, but of the shared space downstairs, so its all deceiving. We contacted them once more to tell we are leaving and requested a refund at least for the 2nd night, as per the booking agreement. To that they responded later on declining the refund. We find this situation completely unacceptable, and this whole situation looks like a scam. Stay away.

alugamos de ultima hora e foi o melhor custo beneficio que podiam os achar, o atendimento é ótimo, tem um brasileiro que trabalha lá que nos deu dicas e todo suporte, o quarto é confortável, o ambiente agradável e relativamente perto das atraçoes ( 30 min de caminhada )

Muy lindo lugar! la cocina súper equipada, el chico que nos atendió súper amable, nos dio una lista de lugares súper acertados donde ir y nos convido una copita de riquísimo Oporto. La habitación súper chiquita pero linda y cómoda y el baño muy bueno también. La ubicación esta rara por que es una linda zona pero no está como en el medio del centro turístico y eso. En la cuadra del hotel puedes estacionar gratis. En general súper recomendado!

The shared kitchen was fully equipped. The staff member called Daniel was very friendly and provided lots of information about the area around. Just the room was a bit small that I could hardly find a space for the luggage.

Great value

Chose this place for our stay in Porto stay and we're very happy! The room was very clean, the balcony was nice to enjoy a take away dinner on, the water was nice and hot, and having use of the communal kitchen was good. It is a little outside of the city's core, however, so the nearest subway is a 15ish minute walk away (if you're coming into the city by train, like we were) . That being said, there was busses that regularly leave the corner of the street that too get you downtown (or you can have a nice hike up and down the hills like we tried one night). The neighbourhood was nice and relatively quiet, situated in more of a suburban area than the real city centre. The place service was good, and your main man for reservations was always available for questions! Really great option for visiting Porto on a budget.

Gleich nach der Buchung wurde man Willkommen geheißen. Und so fühlte man sich auch gleich bei der Ankunft. Es ist sehr persönlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert, alles ist sauber, gemütlich und ordentlich. In der Gemeinschaftsküche kann man sich jederzeit selbst etwas zubereiten, wenn man mag. Backofen, Mikrowelle, Herd und Kühlschrank alles da! Man kann jederzeit eine Nachricht senden, wenn man etwas braucht und sie stehen einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Bad in meinem Zimmer ist zwar klein, aber bietet dennoch genügend Platz zum Aufhängen von Handtüchern oder das Platzieren von seinen Utensilien. Im Zimmer selbst steht ein Kleiderschrank und das Bett. Das Gasthaus liegt an 2 einspurigen Straßen, was mich aber nicht weiter gestört hat, da nach 22h eigentlich kein Verkehr mehr war und die Fenster doppelt verglast sind. Der Supermarkt ist auch nur 3min von der Unterkunft entfernt. Mit der Metro kann man direkt vom Airport bis "Carolina Michaelis" fahren und dann ca. 8min zu Fuß bis zur Unterkunft (ist bergauf). Also auch Top Lage, nicht im Touristenzentrum, eher in einem Wohngebiet.

To be charmed...

We arrived during a downpour and were not received immediately. Fortunately both ourselves and another couple arrived together so they were able to call the host by phone as there was no answer at the door. Our room was a little smaller than expected and there was a bit of noise from adjacent rooms - creaky floors. However the following morning we were offered breakfast, but did not have time to enjoy it as we had a tight schedule. Parking was not that challenging as we parked in an adjacent street.

El lugar es impecable, muy moderno y practico. Tuvimos un mal entendido sobre el acceso por escaleras, pero Jorge inmediatamente busco la forma de solucionarlo con mucha disposicion y cordialidad. Ademas nos dieron muy buen asesoramiento sobre donde ir o que hacer en Oporto. Muy recomendable.
