The variety of options was very impressive. Everything I ate was delicious, and the property itself is gorgeous to start with and very well maintained. The staff was helpful, and the location just a few blocks from the Marques station was ideal. The room I was in had an expansive view of Porto, and I hope to return for a visit, as I had booked too few nights to really see and enjoy the city.

Lovely castle hotel

Lovely hotel! The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was a nice way to start the day. It's about a 20 minute walk downhill into the centre of town (and uphill going back), but that wasn't too far. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Wonderful stay! The historical atmosphere at this hotel is amazing. They have embraced the history while keeping up to date with accommodations visitors enjoy. The gardens create a welcoming first impressions and the staff were extremely helpful with questions, places to visit and arranging restaurant times. Our room was spacious, clean and had the best shower from my two week stay in Portugal. All staff worked together to make the visitors experience top notch. The breakfast in the morning had many options Ms everything was delicious. I would love to return someday.
