My Oporto House is part of a restored building dated 1850, which is classified by UNESCO as World Heritage! Your luxury stay in Porto!

It's located in the heart of historic Oporto city centre, in Douro riverside quarter known as Ribeira, surrounded by the most beautiful and important sights of the city like Palace of Bolsa (Stock Exchange Palace), S João Novo Palace, Dom Fernando Wall, S Francisco Church, Palace of Arts, Hard Club, Douro and Port Wines Institute, House of Henry - The Navigator, Ribeira riverside area, Dom Luis I Eiffel bridge and Port Wine Cellars. All that you want to see in Porto, just a few steps from your home!

In this quarter, you can stroll around the narrow twisting streets, enjoy the colorful facades of the houses, once painted once tiled, taste the most tipical food in busy 'tascas' or restaurants or take party in one of the most lively bars in Ribeira or 'Galerias de Paris'!

Highly recommend staying at this amazing place. The location is perfect. The place is clean, very comfortable bed and linens. And the host is easy to contact and very helpful with great recommendations.

Great place to stay to explore Porto. Not too far from the metro and train stations as well if you want to explore further abroad.Isabel is a fantastic host. She met us at the apartment and gave us some great recommendations in the areas as well for things to see and nearby restaurants.

Porto is a lovely city. Apartment was close to the river and historic sites. It was very comfortable and clean. Complimentary port wine was a nice touch. Be ready for steep streets and steps to apartment. Parking is expensive and driving is challenging,

We so vey much enjoyed our vacation in this lovely, roomy, clean apartment. We most enjoyed it's proximity to the river and it's great location to wonderful restaurants and sites. The apartment has everything to make your stay enjoyable and Isabel's communication is excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment for your stay in Porto.

The apartment is neat, fully equipped and perfectly located. In addition, Isabel is a gem and very supportive. Thanks for helping us out with our reservations ! The restaurant next door, Mistu is a must try, especially their butterfish foie gras and the crème brulée. Isabel also arranged for us a very nice cruise on the Douro valley together with some wine tasting. Thank you so much !

Our experience with Isabel was fantastic from the beginning to the end. She went above and beyond to help us enjoy our trip and experience the Portuguese culture. The house was perfect for my husband and l and it had everything we needed. It’s in a good location and surrounded by good restaurants and shops. Isabel personally welcomed us and made herself available. We highly recommend her place, we’re also planning on coming back soon.

We loved our stay with Isabel in Porto. The Apartment was spotless, very well designed and comfortable for two. Isabel arranged transportation for us and a great full-day Douro Valley wine tour that I highly recommend. If your looking for a place with a high design fell this is your place. It’s a 2nd floor walk-up but not unmanageable if you can walk the hills of Porto. Also can be noisy at night but that’s the cost of a great location.

Porto was amazing, but what really made our week was Isabel and her home. The property is in an excellent location to explore the historic city center, the decor made it feel like an elegant stay in a home, exactly what you hope for, but rarely find in short term rentals. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with not only the home but the host. She absolutely made our stay more special than anywhere we've ever stayed. Ahead of our arrival and after our booking she stayed in communication and recommended many places and things to do during our stay. She personally met us at the home upon check-in and brought a map and identified many places worthy of a visit. Anytime I reached out during our stay she responded immediately. She is a wonderful person and has a passion for this area. The room is as advertised and is beautiful. Wonderful location near the river and so much shopping and many restaurants, all in walking distance. Don't hesitate to book this home! It's an experience we will never forget!

The apartment was beautiful in a location that made everything walkable , for two of us it was perfect! We stayed at Design House Old Town for 4 nights. The apartment is comfortable, modern, extremely well decorated, and has everything for a stress-free stay. The host, Isabel, was present at check-in and responded promptly to all messages throughout our stay. She couldn't have been more helpful. The only negative thing is that the apartment is on a very narrow street with no car parking. This makes it a little difficult to arrive (and leave) by car with anything more than a little luggage. If you are not driving, and/or are travelling light, there are no negatives about Isabel's property.

Our host, Isabel was wonderful. I don't think there is anything she couldn't or wouldn't do for a guest and she helped us with many bookings. The apartment is nicely decorated and ideal for anyone wanting to weekend or so in Porto. For two older travelers on a several week trip in the EU, we could have used a bit more room to be ideal. Also I need more light than when I was younger so I found the lighting to be dimmer than I like. No fault of the apartment, we weren't necessarily the right tenants. Close to river made it easy to enjoy all there is to do with a short walk home

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here. The apartment is a great size for two people and beautifully designed. Isabel the host met us at the apartment even though we arrived early so we could drop off our bags and couldn't do enough for you with excellent recommendations and always on hand for queries. Definitely try Mistu and Intrigo which are restaurants very close by and were some of the best food we had in Porto. The apartment is very centrally located and all the main attractions are easily walkable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we get chance to visit Porto again!
