Reservation Fail

We went there and at reception they told us that they don't have us in their list and that they never received reservation, and as Hotel was full we had to search for new stay.

Great Location

Location was great. Bus stops, to take you were you want to go, right outside their door with the furthest one being about a block away. Breakfast was basic: buns, one type of meat, one type of cheese, 2 kinds of cereal, milk, juice and coffee, but it was included, so better than nothing. The room was a bit crowded.reception was open 24 hours so great for very early or late check in.

Far from what you can see in the photos

I usually don't like to give bad feedback, but this time I was really disappointed. We stayed at Hotel Chique 2 nights in a double bedroom. I don't know if they have better rooms than that they gave us to us, but ours was far away of what we've seen in the photos. The hotel it's situated in a very good position, in the city center of Porto, and as all the buildings of that area, it's an antique construction. This can be a good thing for them if the building would be properly maintained. I felt unsafe each time I had to do the stairs and when I walked inside the room. The floor has this filthy carpet, I believe it's antique too and inside the room the cleaning it's not at its best. The wardrope we had was pretty dirty and not very functional, as it was hard to open and close a so old piece of furniture. The bed was ok, but the pillows very unconfortable. We had payed the breakfast too, but was nothing special, they had: buns of bread, preseed cheese, some ham, cereals, coffee, fruit juice, everything flavorless. Even if the place and food was disappointing, the people that work there tried to be very nice with us even if the most of them didn't know english. I can say that the service was pretty ok.

Tive minha reserva cancelada sem aviso prévio. Contato apenas com a recepção, não cheguei a entrar nos quartos. A recepção foi muito solicita mas o hotel, apesar de muito central, é bastante antigo.

大通りに面した、古い建物が並ぶ界隈にあります。 外側からの雰囲気は良く、サンベント駅からも近く、アクセスのいい場所にあります。 ただ、そのための問題も。大通りに面しているため音がうるさく、夜など静かにすごしたい方には少し不向きかもしれません。外からの音だけでなく、隣や上の部屋の音がものすごく聞こえます。 古い建物で、部屋の内装も少しレトロな感じです。掃除は行き届いていますが、古いという印象はぬぐえません。 窓ガラスも古い一重ガラスの窓で、二重ガラスの窓なら、もう少し騒音も防げるかもと思います。 立地のいい場所の割りに値段が手頃なので、部屋は大通りに面していない奥の部屋ならもう少し静かで過ごしやすいのかもしれません。

Decepção

Na verdade, o único ponto positivo é a localização. Hotel sem conservação, quarto minúsculo, banheiro menor ainda.....chuveiro quebrado (sem suporte/fixação). Mesmo tendo na reserva solicitado duas camas de solteiro, ficamos em um quarto com cama de casal.Não recomendo!
