Good location with excellent staff

Lovely 2 night break. Reception staff were always very pleasant and helpful. Lobby smelt lovely. Room was compact but expected for a city centre hotel, cute balcony facing the street. Breakfast was very good, cold and hot options. staff very welcoming. Good location near the Clerigos Church. All in all a perfect hotel for our needs.

Stayed at this historic property 10 years ago. Returned to enjoy over again ... was not disappointed .. convenient in historic center of Porto, close to transportation, surrounded by restaurant opportunities, shopping, close to the river. Only wish that the hotel restaurant and bar had been open to re-light those particular memories. Would like to return once the ongoing Metro expansion is completed.

Pleasant place to stay

Courteous check-in. Very nice breakfast spread. AC worked great. Central location to walking from Sao Bento Train Station and eating places. Stronger bathroom lighting would be nice. Allowed us to remove fridge snacks for our things to keep fresh.

Wonderful stay! Everything was perfect! The staff is extremely kind, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and very varied. The room super clean, quite and the heating system worked perfectly and silently. The hotel is very well decorated, clean and fancy. Great central location to reach all major points on foot, as well as metro and train stations. I would have liked to spend more time in Porto just to enjoy this beautiful hotel more! Don’t think twice and book it! Thank you so much! :))

Central location

Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The towel rack in the bathroom was lying on the floor so it was unusable. The floor in the shower was marble so it was very slippery and unsafe. There were no handrails in the shower to hold on to steady oneself on the slippery marble floor. Breakfast choices were many. The croissant I had was stale but the rest of the pastries were fine, as were the other breakfast options. Parking was a block away and there was a fee per day to park. Lugging luggage up to the parking lot was an experience.

Es un hotel reformado en un edificio antiguo, tiene unas zones comunes my bonitas y bien cuidadas. Esta muy bien situado, cercano y de fácil acceso a varios lugares de obligada visita. Por mi parte solo tiene un punto negativo y es que algunas habitaciones que ofrecen como dobles son demasiado pequeñas.
