The location of the hotel is a bit away from everything but this proved to be nice as the noise level in the city center became elevated in the evening. Wish the room was more spacious.

The hotel itself is quite small but the rooms are spacious. We were on a grueling journey from Vancouver to Porto with a layover and landed before 7am. We were all exhausted traveling with 3 kids and seniors. When we arrived at the hotel just after 8am and surprisingly enough the room was ready and they were just putting the crib in. We were soooooo thankful. The room was nicely cleaned and ready for us to pass out. The bed and pillows are surprisingly comfy, and they laid out some nice blankets for the crib so it wasn’t so hard. I wish they had more closet space since we were there for a wedding and didn’t have too much hanger space. The rooms have a mini kitchenette with a microwave, water boiler, plates, cups and some cutlery. Their complimentary breakfast is great and it was right on our floor. Eggs and ham for breakfast is always a plus. They don’t have many amenities like a pool or gym - would be nice if they had shampoo and conditioner though!

Close to the city center without being in the city center. The area surroundings are not the lost appealing but everything is very convenient. Good restaurants and entertainment close by. The best things about the apartment were the size and a great breakfast. The TV signal was very bad and the wifi awful.

We were traveling with two young children, and our stay had been delightful. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than our check-in time and they had our room ready. The room is good size and clean for us. The location is very strategic with the local market, grocery stores, city hall and historic locations close by. Walking to the Ribeira takes about 15 minutes and could be hilly but we were able to manage. There were also decent local restaurants around the hotel. Be sure to talk to the staff for recommendations.
