For our family reunion (with dog) this ibis and its staff provided the perfect housing: parking the camper, excellent breakfast buffet with long breakfast hours, attentive staff and above the river Douro and the old fishermens' town of Afurada = for us the perfect combination!

Excellent place to stay. I already told my sister for her trip with friends on May to stay here. Easy and cheap uber to go to Cias de Gaia and the old town. Also easy transportation bus, metro, meteo bus. Very clean place and the staff team love what they do. Customer service PERFECT! The reception team super friendly, Rita always with a beautiful smile reflecting that she loves to help customers. Thank you thank you and thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

A wonderful place to stay! Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was super clean, nice comfortable bed. Beautiful breakfast!!! Lots of choices with pastries, scrambled eggs, pancakes, cheeses, meats, fruit, juice, coffee! Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel

Rooms were nice, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Parking was available. Not too far from historic downtown and the river, just a short taxi drive. Only issue we had was the fact that you had to drive out to find restaurants, we did not try to walk because it seemed complicated. There is a shopping mall a few minutes away with an excellent food court.

Comfortable stay with excellent service!

We booked a superior room with a nice view of the river. It was comfortable, not so big but big enough for our 1 night stay. The room was available early which was really nice because we arrived around noon. It is a fair walk to the restaurants down hill which means you have to go up hill when returning. We decided not use the breakfast facilities so I can't comment on those. Lovely area to sit outside and catch some sun. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Ibis is a decent average place to stay, nothing fancy. A bit out of the way from the Porto water for walking, but a nice view of it. Value stay for sure. if you're looking for good basic place to be, this works. One negative is the cost of food at the hotel, Breakfast was WAY overpriced.

We reached the hotel at 2 am.. The receptionist was not friendly at all as if we were not supposed to reach the hotel at 2:00 am! The room is so small no safe, no closet, there's no space to even walk or place your luggage! Breakfast was decent though..

Really happy with our stay! We arrived later than expected and pleased to find the restaurant was open all night so we could grab something to eat before bed. And the breakfast was awesome, many pastry choices, cereal, eggs, coffee and juice as well. We stayed in a regular room and while it was fine for two people (who were hardly in the room anyway) I would consider booking the bigger comfort suites in the future (plus you can get river views).

The staff was amazing and very accommodating explaining their ecco commitment. They do not have traditional room air conditioning. The window in our room was small, but did open. As we opened the window there was a breeze. That gave some relief from the heat in our room. The square footage (120 sq. Ft.) in the room didn't work for us. We relocated to another property and really enjoyed our stay in Porto.
