This place is absolutely lovely and very well located, just 15 minutes walk (or a slow walk of 20 mins) from the most central places. Opposite the premises is a beautiful park (Jardins do Palácio de Cristal) with peacocks and stunning views over Porto. The decor of the rooms and the common areas are beautiful, the staff extremely kind and helpful - thank you Maria and the other lady who went out of her way to ensure that I could connect to their Internet when I lost network coverage. Breakfast was simple and yet very delicious. What really made a difference was the welcome pastries in my room on arrival plus a slice of home-made cake always available in the main saloon which was a plus when feeling peckish. Despite not being in the centre of Porto, the location is quiet (for a good night's sleep) and very well connected as you can hop on a sight seeing tour bus in front of the premises. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay. I would stay there again.

Ein nettes Hotel in einem schönen alten Gebäude. Sehr gemütlich. Das Frühstück ist absolut in Ordnung, mit allem was man von einem guten Hotel-Frühstück erwartet. Bettwäsche sind angenehm weich.
