"We had a great time staying at this place for more than two weeks, which was made possible by an affordable price. Charming room in a 200 years old building in the center of Iglesias. Lots of history around. Excellent city vibe. Great dining options. 15 min from the closest beach. Very convenient if you are looking for a place to sleep and explore the island during the day. "This was the worse hotel/bnb experience of our lives and we've stayed in 100s of places. No one was there to greet us. We called and over the phone they told us to go in the house and find a room. "Michele was very responsive & welcoming from the time I booked the accommodation. He sent a few links to places to see in Carloforte plus the ferry timetable which were all very helpful. Our room was very quiet, clean with a comfortable bed. Although breakfast wasn’t included, there is a kitchen with utensils, etc that one can use for a take out meal. Would highly recommend staying here. "

"House is nice. In the morning a quick swim and a shower. The one air conditioning is actually enough. I would like to warn some drivers. If you drive down that road, there is no way you can turn around unless someone holds the chain up. Just make sure you have someone. The care taker and myself did it. "We really enjoyed our stay at Relais La Ghinghetta! We wish we had stayed longer to really explore the local area and beaches right behind the property. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rodney and his wife that worked at the restaurant/bar upstairs made our stay even more enjoyable. The chef for breakfast was AMAZING and made the best lasagna I've had! And all her breakfast pastries were phenomenal. I had to restrain myself from eating everything. If we visit the area again, we would definitely stay here. "
