"Rooms we very clean, staff were amazing. I did not use the pool but the water looked crystal clear. The beach was amazing! Extremely clean. The food was good. The only place this resort lost a star was with their cookware. They are non-stick and the non-stick coating was coming off their frying pans contaminating the food with POAFS. A top notch resort like this should have top notch cookware and not cheap cookware from China. For this reason I may not return."

Magnificent location right on the beach. Elegant but relaxed vibe. Wonderful food. The staff was very attentive to our every need. The only downside was we couldn’t stay longer.

Love this hotel! We stay at this hotel 3-4 times per season. The staff is amazing & go out of their way to assist you. Included breakfast has something to satisfy everyone with once again, great service staff. The hotel & restaurant are right ON the beach.Nothing like watching the sunrise while having breakfast. The hotel has an old world Madeira feel to it & you will never forget it. It is within walking distance to shopping & restaurants. The bike/motorcycle etc. rental shop is just up the...

First impression not good; a tall building raging far above over the idyllic small town of Machico. But after staying 3 days I,m impressed! For the price for the rooms you really get value for money. Great breakfast! Situated perfect, above the beach and city center, friendly atmosphere, beautiful m surroundings. A lot do do both at and outside the hotel.
