Fantastic Hotel & Location

Fantastic staff and great food. Only downfall was parking was a struggle on the Sunday with on street parking and pillows very hard and uncomfortable but staff made up for any issues and looking forward to staying again after the refurb

We had a fantastic stay at the Adelphi Hotel with friends for my Husband's Birthday. Our rooms (one with a sea view) had everything we'd need for our stay including a bottle of procecco and a card for hubby's birthday, a lovely gesture! Our meal was delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Good basic stay in Portrush

Friendly staff, good breakfast. Room was clean and spacious. Shower was ok, but the shower door leaked water into the bathroom. Health suite was lacklustre, the sauna and steam room were out of order.

Lovely property in well maintained older building. Staff is extremely helpful and responsive. Rooms are decently spacious. Parking is very limited especially on busy weekends in Portrush. Close walking distance to beaches & restaurants. The morning breakfast is very adequate. Overall I’d stay again.

We had a mostly pleasant stay. The staff were all very friendly and the service in the restaurant was great. The hotel is very dog-friendly, which we really appreciated—our dog was welcome at breakfast, and the location is ideal for walking. We stayed on a Monday in the off-season, so food options in town were limited, but we ate in the hotel and enjoyed the meal. However, we were disappointed with the room. We had upgraded in advance and expected room with a nice view like pictures suggested, but were given a first-floor room at the back with a view of a roof and surrounding windows instead. This felt particularly frustrating as there were only 3 rooms occupied that night (including us) so it seemed like a better room could have been allocated. The temperature was also a problem. The room and corridors were extremely warm, even in November. We turned off the radiator on arrival, opened the window and used the small fan provided, but the room remained uncomfortably hot overnight, and we didn’t sleep well. There is no air conditioning. We were fortunate to find a free parking space right across from the hotel, which made unloading easy, though it did seem like luck, as cars were waiting to take it when we left. Overall, a friendly hotel in a great location, especially if travelling with a dog, but the room allocation and temperature issues would make us think twice before returning unless we could confirm a cooler, sea-view room in advance.
