"The house was the perfect size for us. We noticed that the flower thing on the ceiling in the kitchen was really dusty and there was loads of random things in the cupboards in the bedrooms. Like nappies that had been left. And inco sheets. Loved the different ornaments around the house and the fact there was chess and dominos. The chess got brought out one night and played. We also spotted a deer whilst in the kitchen. Walking across the grass behind the bushes. And spotted 2 whilst...

The accommodation on the website says shared bathrooms- not something we really wanted but nevertheless it turned out that we had a room with our own toilet and wash basin. "What a fabby wee place to stay. It was perfect. Well equipped, comfortable, clean, spacious & quiet. Was literally everything we were looking for. The log fired hot tub was brilliant. And it was only a short drive to Elgin for shops, restaurants etc. Lovely couple of days away, we'd highly recommend. Xxx"

Modern Fisherman's Cottage with Stunning Uninterrupted Views of the Moray Firth

Fantastic location

"We had a great stay. The cottage had everything we needed, plus the lovely view. Findochty is a very photogenic village, so I was out and about taking photos at all hours! On our arrival we were welcomed by dolphins frolicking in the sea in front of the cottage. The evening before our departure we were treated to the sight of a pod of orcas cruising past, quite close to the shore. "
