It’s a really quiet and clean space, and the host was very communicative and open! There is lots of sleeping space and even more common space. A great stay, for many or just a couple of people.
We had a wonderful two night stay on our way to Yellowstone! The location was absolutely beautiful — peaceful, scenic, and just what we needed to relax. The home was spotless and well-kept, with thoughtful amenities that made our stay extra comfortable. The owners were friendly and communicated clearly throughout the process, which made everything smooth and easy. We’d definitely stay here again!
Host was very attentive, responded quickly and welcoming.
Place was clean, roomy and prefect for myself and 3 kids.
Location was great in the middle for Silverwood, Spokane and Coeur d’Alene.
Can’t wait to return
Perfect place to stay while visiting Silverwood. We could get away and sleep in while still being close to the park. Great accommodations for our family.
Exactly as the described and clean with everything we needed. I would highly recommend !
We chose to stay here while we were in the Spokane/CDA area and it served as a great spot to be close enough to all the places we needed to be but far enough away to get some relaxation in. The recliners and couch were very comfortable as were the beds. All the amenities were nice and the kitchenette served us very well. We also loved the nearby pizza joint on the lake on the recommendations of the hosts. I’d recommend staying here and we’ll definitely be back for a future stay if we’re in the area again.
The bunkhouse was amazing! So clean and well stocked. Beds and furnishings were all comfortable. We felt like we were at home. The area is nice and quite, we could see the lake and even seen a couple deer! Kristine had great communication and replied to messages promptly. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.
We had such a lovely stay at the bunkhouse! The space was spick and span, full of all the comforts of home, had many fun amenities, and the host (Kristine) was extremely friendly and kind. Our stay sthe bunkhouse was just lovely!
The Bunkhouse was a perfect home base for us, only 30 mins from shopping in Spokane (Trader Joes.... haha) and about the same to Silverwood. Backing onto a Nature Reserve, the kids LOVED seeing the wild turkeys and deer.
It is very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We cannot wait to return annually for our family trip to Idaho.
The Bunkhouse was perfect. Clean and quiet. Super easy communication with host and very clear instructions were given. Kristine is a wonderful host and provided a great and easy stay for us. Amenities were beyond what we expected and better than any VRBO we have stayed at. Kids loved getting to play with Jax, the owners adorable husky.
We had a wonderful time at this property. It was probably the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in, and had everything we needed. My children loved playing with the toys and games. My husband is a husky dog lover so he had a great time meeting Jaxx. We enjoyed the little snacks too! We had trouble locating the thermostat on our first night, but Kristine texted me right back with that info. These hosts are very welcoming and clearly care about their guests.
We chose this location to be out of the city while our boys had a baseball tournament in Spokane Valley. The host Kristine was fantastic from when we booked, she reached out with specific directions and left us some treats upon checkin. The bunkhouse was clean and cool on a hot day. They had yard games available, although we didn’t play them after a 8 hour day out in the sun at baseball. We will definitely be booking stays next season when we’re back in the area for tournaments. You can’t beat the location out of the way cozy location with such wonderful hosts!
First, Kristine was an amazing host, from the booking process, to check in and check out. We encountered delays and rerouting due to the wildfires and she was gracious throughout. Once there, the girls and I were so happy to be greeted by such a warm, welcoming, homey space with so many charming details. My granddaughter said that it was her new dream house and my ‘bonus’ granddaughter agreed that it was a wonderful space. I truly wish I would have met Jackson, but perhaps on a future visit. 🐾 We did get to see many deer around the lake, so we took that for a win. Thank you, Kristine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! 💕
My wife and I travel to the Post Falls area a couple of times a year to visit our granddaughter (and her parents, of course). We usually travel with elderly parents, so we stay at a larger place than the bunkhouse. This time, it was just the two of us, and the bunkhouse was absolutely perfect. The place is immaculate, and welcoming. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. The hosts, Kristine and Kit, are responsive, more than helpful, and their pride in the bunkhouse is obvious. Our seven-year-old granddaughter loved the place as well, with games and fun amenities for us to dive into together. We made some new memories for sure.
This will be our first choice for the trips that include just the two of us. The bunkhouse would easily accommodate a larger group, but there are stairs leading to the front door that would be difficult for my ninety-year-old mother to navigate. The climb is well worth it, though.
The room had everything I need including some really good different coffee blends for the Keurig. The neighborhood is wonderful, wooded and quiet with a nice view of the lake.
