"Where to start? Alain & Marie were excellent answering all questions before our arrival organising including airport transfers and hire car (essential to get round). The villa is amazing, very clean, and has a very peaceful energy which a great reflection on the owners. The views of the ocean are something to behold l swear. "Beautiful hotel with lovely facilities and beach. We found the food very average compared to other 5* all inclusive resorts we’ve stayed at in Europe and the UAE. Only one à la carte restaurant is included on the all inclusive package and was nothing to rave about - would probably give it a 7/10 max. The service again was ok, but have received far better at other hotels. Given that food makes up such a big part of a holiday for us we probably wouldn’t return, but the hotel itself has a lot of potential."

"Our stay at Lux Grande Gaube was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and a level of hospitality that truly exceeded all expectations. The food throughout the resort was fantastic, with a special mention to Bodrum restaurant, which was an absolute highlight of our stay. Every meal was beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and made for a wonderful dining experience. What really made our holiday unforgettable, however, were the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Reedoo on the beach, who went above and beyond every single day to make sure everyone was comfortable. He was incredibly attentive, always responsive, and seemed to anticipate what guests needed before they even had to ask. His friendliness and genuine care made such a difference to our experience. Elena from front of house was equally wonderful — so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. She always greeted us with a smile and made us feel truly valued as guests. A special mention also goes to Maeva from the entertainment team, who took us on a fantastic bike tour around the island. Her knowledge of Mauritius was incredible, and she made us feel safe and looked after at all times, regularly checking that we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. She was great fun to spend time with and so patient throughout the experience. And last but certainly not least, Kamal from housekeeping deserves the biggest praise. He is genuinely one of the nicest people we"

"Had a fantastic time! The facilities were perfrect, well maintained and clean. staff were helpful and hospitable in general. We could also see dolphins swimming near the resort. Very happy with our stay. Only minor point is that dinner reservations at the restaurants on site can be a bit tricky (e.g. we were given a later booking even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time we requested)."

"1. Excellent location of resort. Staff was very courteous..facilities are good.. Room was beach facing 2. Check in experience was bad inspite of informing upfront had to wait for over 90 minutes post international travel.. it was a downer .. 3. We had dinner in their Indian and Thai restaurants ..taste was excellent and service was very good.. 4. other locations in Mauritius are within 1- 1.5 hours drive 5. Breakfast and Dinner buffet for vegetarian food is decent."
