It works for a park lodge (don’t expect luxury). My cabin shared a wall so noise could be an issue.

Lucia Lodge
The name is misleading as there is no lodge or restaurant. It is a single story structure with about 10 rooms. The unit interior was fine and very clean, the exterior of the building and grounds were in poor condition. The view is great but not worth the cost of the stay. There are better options ...

Carmel Valley Lodge and Resort
It is like a motel set up. Room is pretty basic but quite spacious. There was a big clump of leaves that someone had swept but forgot to pick up right in front of our unit. We stayed only for 1 night so are not aware of the amenities. Breakfast was basic. Overall an ok stay
