"This is a really great place to stay and explore DC. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and still very close to lots of good restaurants and walking distance to the main sites to see. The house itself is very comfortable and well appointed, and the hosts are really nice, responsive and helpful."

"Was within walking distance of almost everything we needed. We were here to see the museums and was only a few blocks from the National Mall which was perfect.Bike share is right there too! Everything was clean and perfect for two people."

"First impression was very clean and who ever the cleaning team is are great , also place was spacious and cozy. "The managers were super responsive, check in was easy and the place had everything I needed for a short stay. Located near a lot of important landmarks, and not far from the Capitol, Wharf or the airport. I noticed folks in the neighborhood were also kind, alert and helpful."

"We came to DC to enjoy the Cherry Blossom trees in bloom & see the history of our nation. We took Ubers to the National Mall & the Zoo which only took minutes to get to & from. The property was delightful, bright, comfortable. We stayed a week & never had problems. Since we flew there from NM, we didn’t have a cutting knife to use for the kitchen so that would be my only suggestion to supply one. Thank you for a great experience!"

"Overall, this flat offered all we were looking for, a great price close to all the sights we were hoping to see. I assumed because it was a 3rd floor unit that there was an elevator, I was wrong. My husband is disabled so my own fault for not asking the question prior to booking. We didn't spend much time going up and down the stairs, and grandkids came in handy to retrieve meal deliveries. "Great location, very comfortable apartment, well appointed, and open living area. Owner was responsive from moment of booking until the end. "

"Home was clean, easy to find parking, and convenient to public transit via street car that runs to Union Station frequently. The host was very responsive when expressing needs or issues. We traveled with two senior citizens who struggled with the walk up to the 4th floor apartment. I live in NYC and not much makes me uncomfortable but the immediate corner has some folks outside day and night doing some sketchy business. That said, no one bothered us and I would return to this property as it was...

"Overall the accommodations were great. Neighborhood on the surface wasn’t the best but there were no problems with the neighbors in the public housing across the street. My only complaint was I never had hot water for a shower."

"Before travelling to Washington I contacted the host to verify that the sofa in this unit was a pull out; we needed two sleeping areas. The host assured me that it was. Upon arrival, we discovered that it was not. The host eventually moved us to another unit. Communication with the host was not easy. As for this property, I would not recommend it. "Love love love the Hotel Lombardy. It is an historic gem, full of character. The location is perfect. Across the street from dining options and a couple of blocks from a CVS and a Whole Foods store. We were 15 minutes walk from the White House. The sights were easily accessible on foot. (We are Brits and we like to walk around). We felt very safe in the area. The beds were so comfortable, we could have taken them home! A big shout out to Muhammed in the restaurant who could not do enough for us. I highly recommend this hotel. "
