"Claudette gets top marks for responsiveness and helpfulness. The cottage is deep in the countryside with beautiful walls in the fields and woods all around. We made friends with the cows, the crickets and birds. Exactly what we needed from our holiday. "Well equipped, tastefully decorated, comfortable. Plenty of storage for cases and accessories. Beds very comfortable, great shower! Good secluded patio area with plenty of seating and the benefit of a small pool. Off road, safe and secure parking. Good WiFi. Area excellent for touring the Beaujolais region with great local road connectivity. Our warm and friendly hosts were more than generous leaving wine and basic provisions for a few breakfasts. "Belle propriété, de superbes installations MAIS propriétaire trop présent : il s'est permis d'entrer dans la villa sans raison quand bon lui semblait que l'on soit là ou non, plusieurs fois par jour, pour observer tous nos faits et gestes. Il y a un gardien qui lui est très discret et c'est son travail de s'occuper de la villa (fleurs, piscine, ..). Pour le jacuzzi, aucune explication claire et si on se trompe on est privé de jacuzzi (fermeture inopinée de la porte malgré qu'on le paye). À part...

"Seamless check in - polite & v pleasant staff member on reception who gave us information & directions with regard to charging the car & places to eat as it was a Sunday night & not many places open. Excellent large room ideal for us travelling with our dog. Dog bowls & toy also provided in the room which was a nice touch along with a complimentary bottle of water & well stocked coffee & tea facilities. Good to have the green tea option too which is often missed. Room was comfortable - the only slight negativity was the air conditioning which did little to cool down the room but it was a minor thing. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel but it was on offer. Would definitely stay here again. "
