We had a great time at the house. It was the perfect place to stay. We loved our welcome from the host and the house was very clean with everything we could need.
We really enjoyed staying at this country home. My husband loved petting the friendly cows and we both relaxed in the rockers on the front porch. The house was clean and had anything you needed including snacks.
This was a clean comfortable vacation stay. Having a washer and dryer available and plenty of clean towels was a plus. The kitchen was very well set up also. We would stay at this property on our next visit.
Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very clean and was well stocked for our 2 night stay. The owner is super nice and took time to show us their farm animals, which my kids loved.
this property is in a quiet area. We enjoyed the quiet and all the farm animals. The host family was very kind and attentive. The house was equipped with everything we needed. it really felt like home. We definitely will stay here again
The house was absolutely lovely!!! You couldn’t have asked for a cleaner, more beautiful place to stay. The host and his family were wonderful, even allowing my children to help feed the chickens. It was nice to get my children away from all their creature comforts and enjoy some of the country side. If I could rate our stay on a scale of 1 out of 10, I would give it a100!!!
This was just what we needed for a few days. Very clean. Owner was very responsive when we had an issue with an outlet in the kitchen. Not a lot of space, but clean and quiet.
Small house perfect for family time. The house was very well maintained, clean, and well stocked with supplies. Host was helpful with the entire stay. Our kids loved the animals and enjoyed watching them first thing in the morning. Quiet neighborhood that wasn’t too far from stores. Overall extremely pleased with our stay and would love to stay again!
Our family took a trip to explore the Knoxville area. Check in was simple and the house had everything we needed and was very clean. It was great to have our own space and not be confined in a hotel room. We didn’t spend much time at the house as we were out exploring most of the days, but the beds were comfortable and it was quiet and peaceful when we were there. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay Keith!
We had a great time! We loved that their were bunk beds so no one had to sleep on a sofa bed. The house was just the right size for us. Everything was perfect. The house had everything we could possibly need. It was the best stocked VRBO we’ve ever used. We will definitely be back!
Was in town for work and rented this property from Keith. The entire process went very smooth and easy. Keith and his family were very kind and welcoming when we got there. The property it’s self was very comfortable and enjoyable for the length of our stay with perfect distance from Knoxville to give it a country feel with access to all the amenities. We felt at home there and will definitely stay again!
We stayed here for 2 nights. The host was friendly and communicative. We had a minor issue with the heat but nothing huge. The kitchen was well stocked. Good water pressure and hot water. The bed was a little soft for our personal preference but it was nice. Perfect space for a small family. The chickens were fun neighbors.
Probably the cleanest VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. The owner, Keith, was very friendly and helpful as well as his two boys we met during our short stay in Powell. Meeting their little lamb Leah was a big hit for our two teenage daughters. The chickens were very friendly and fun to watch as the roamed the property. It’s the perfect distance from Knoxville to make you feel like you’re getting away from the city life, but only around fifteen minutes away. We’d definitely stay here again; it’s updated, clean and comfortable. So glad we didn’t stay in downtown Knoxville and stayed here instead!
This property exceeded our expectations! When we first walked in we were all so impressed with how clean and up to date every thing was. Anything we could have needed was provided for us. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals for our family of 5. There was even a highchair for our baby to use. The host family was very accommodating, Keith even let me borrow a screwdriver to put our babies push walker together. We were there for the 4th of July and they even invited us to a great place to watch fireworks. I highly recommend staying here, you definitely won't be disappointed.
My family of six enjoyed our short getaway at this property. 20 minutes to Knoxville & 1 hour to Pigeon Forge, traffic permitting. Close enough to everything else you would need. We’ll definitely stay again when in the area.
Better Than Advertised!!! Prettier; More Amenities
My husband and I brought our six kids during Thanksgiving week. Boys (18, 10, 3), girls (16, 13), and our newborn. We hosted extended family from the Knoxville area during the daytime so that we wouldn’t overwhelm them by bringing our kids to their houses! Cooking for everyone worked out fine all week with the cookware provided. We ordered our Thanksgiving meal from a local store because making a turkey dinner would have been a little too much, as we didn’t bring a giant roasting pan or anything.
We enjoyed our time SO much! The house is so clean and much cuter than the photos show. It is very homey inside and the remodel is very well done. Furnishings and decor are wonderful. The beds are super comfortable. So many amenities here as well.
The owners thought of everything! Granola bars greeted us when we stumbled in late at night from Chicago. Perfect for the kids! There was an array of large shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles to choose from in the bathroom, as well as feminine products tucked in a drawer. The large washer and dryer worked well and offered a variety of laundry detergents. There are basics in the kitchen, like olive oil and a pretty display of tea bags and honey! We could go on and on. Just know that there are many extras in the house that are not listed on the website.
The farm is so lovely and relaxing. Keith gave us a tour and we learned some very interesting things as well. We were able to go into the pasture with Keith and his young sons to pet the sheep and brown and black cows. We also met Elvis the goat, who has one giant horn. There are a bunch of white ducks guarded by a white goose in a pen. Chickens roam freely and there is a rooster who can be heard at times. The farm is hilly and has large trees surrounding it on some sides. Very pretty.
For kids there is a small swing set behind the house, as well as some wooden toys. There are children’s books and games, as well as puzzles for the older kids and adults. We used the playing cards when extended family came over. Also a large TV in the living room and medium sized TV mounted in the master bedroom.
There is a front porch with rocking chairs and a back deck with a table and four chairs. When we had our Thanksgiving meal Keith was thoughtful and asked us if we needed to borrow a card table and chairs, which we did. The dining room table seats 8.
It is very difficult to find in the dark, even with GPS. Just FYI!
