The staff are lovely and whether you just want a chat or total privacy your needs are catered for, housekeepers are first class and very helpful. "We stayed 3 nights here and the apartment was excellent. It's literally home from home with everything you need. The WiFi is brilliant, so much so we used our IPTV box! They are big apartments. Well equipped. Huge balconies and stunning views. The reception staff are brilliant. Friendly and always make sure everything is ok. The pool area is lovely too. Great food at the pool bar. We cannot fault this place at all. Short walk to the commercial centre. We will definitely book to come back...

"I don’t want to complain to much as I paid next to nothing for 4 days but it looks as though the owners of the hotel have given up or run out of money. Loads of general maintenance needed & smell of drains in the bathroom. Balcony also needs loads of attention as the decking is falling apart. Hardly seen any staff but those I did see were polite. Pool is tiny in comparison with photos. "

"It was so hard to check in. So many steps to get to the property. Hard to find parking in street. Property air conditioner was not working fine and was noisy. Property was far from beach and swimming pool. Over all that was waste of money."

"The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked, so this really is the main thing. Cleaning staff were thorough, although do not operate 2 days of the week. Breakfast was on the basic side, especially if you went close to finishing time (although there were always 2-3 reliable items like bread, eggs and bacon that you could rely on). "Really enjoyed our stay at the Montebello. Check-in was easy despite having to wait as we arrived a few hours early. The room was on 9th floor and was perfect. The balcony had 2 sunbeds along with dining table and parasol. Shower was lovely although we did think it was only cold water until we realised you need to turn on the boiler in the kitchen area :-) heads up there to any future guests. The location is great too - easy to walk down either steps or slopes to main centre /marina. Taxi...

"Loved our stay here, the location is perfect at the bottom area of town (no hills to climb) close to shops & beach. The staff were lovely, in particular the cleaning staff who were in 5 days from 7. Room was comfortable & balcony fab! The only reason we didn't give a 5 star was due to a few small maintenance issues (balcony door lock, microwave door opening & leaky shower) however don't let that put you off, we had a great stay and would recommend. "The property is clean and as described. It is located well for beaches. There is a small enclave of German bars that continually play ump pa pa music all evening until after midnight. "Really well designed property. The parking is under the accommodation and extends around the perimeter of the property. You can park under the building containing your apartment and there is a stairwell and two elevators for each building. We stayed in a large two bedroom apartment, and it was very spacious. "Great location, clean tidy rooms with a small kitchen, very friendly staff. A couple of minutes walk to the beach and lots of amenities (shops, restaurants etc) close by. The only thing I could fault was the lack of air con in the room. As we stayed at the end of November this was not too much of a problem, but I would think twice about booking if I were looking to stay in July/August."
