"Travelling as a family of 4 with 2 small children staying at Torre Cintola was ideal. Its location was close by to the main places we wanted to visit (Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Ostuni, Alberobello, Matera, Bari, etc). It’s right on the coast, so the views are beautiful and worthwhile to take a drive along the road to see restaurants or beach clubs. While we were there it was a bit too cool to truly enjoy the ocean, but the sun was warm enough to still enjoy everything else. The resort itself...

"The property is clean and unique (a trullo). The paid parking is close by. The breakfast is pretty good but nothing too special. If you want to stay in a trullo in a very convenient location it is worth it. But if you are willing to drive (or walk) a bit, I am sure you can find cheaper options. Compared to our other stays in Puglia I think this stay was a bit too expensive for what it was. "

"The hotel had a good sized free carpark with gates .and was very near the restaurants and bars in town, so no need to move the car in the evening. The welcome was warm, the room was small but clean. The breakfast had good pastries, but the protein items were always a bit repaid and the juice was squash. We ate dinner one night which was very good."

"1) Walking down the path from the street to the hotel, the garbage bin area is filthy/smelly and you have to walk right past it. A small fence or something to hide it would help the impression of the hotel 2) Our room was very nice, but there was a constant sewer gas smell coming from the bathroom. That smell tarnished all the nice aspects of the room 3) On a positive note, the breakfast was wonderful, and we also had a lovely dinner in the dining room"
