Excellent Villa! Felt like we were staying in someone’s home. Very authentic Italian experience. The manager and staff were extremely hospitable. Be prepared, there are a lot of steps to go up to the villa but the views make it worth it. The staff prepares a nice buffet style breakfast every morning. There’s a garden where they grow vegetables and fruits for breakfast. Make sure to try the homemade jams!

What an amazing B&B, with unparalleled views of the coast. The owner Giulio goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. He even prepares fresh fruits and vegetables from the gardens on the property every morning for breakfast. Thanks to him, and the rest of the staff for a memorable experience.

Fantastic stay. Characterful, well maintained property. Maybe not super luxurious, very comfortable and great value for the area. Sweet, helpful staff. Sits above the town - your thighs will burn but all worth it for THAT VIEW.

A few issues which you would not expect in any hotel, especially in one with this cost. - Shower would leak all over the floor every time you used it. Drenched the bathroom floor. - Hairdryer was old and would work for 30 seconds, then shut off. Very frustrating when your partner is looking toward drying hair properly to go out for dinner. - Jacuzzi: Was covered and we were told it broke a few days before when a guest jumped in. Hard to believe this was true. - Privacy: We had a room with a balcony. In listing pictures, it seemed as it would be private, but it isnt at all. Every guest going towards the pool walks by your bedroom. On one occasion an employee walked through the "private" balcony. It was. surprise to see someone so close to the room and inside an area which we thought would be private. Breakfast; Very nice chef and helper. We expected to have more of a variety and fresher local produce, especially compared to all the other experiences we had on the trip. Experience overall was very disappointing.

The Villa il Frantoio offers spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast. The staff is warm and welcoming. Breakfast is something to look forward to. The fruits & vegetables served at breakfast are grown just steps from the breakfast area. A wide variety of fresh food is served every morning. After eating breakfast, you can sit in the garden and enjoy a cup of coffee with breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast. Our room was well appointed with a large bathroom and a beautiful balcony. The hotel is within walking distance of many of the finest restaurants on the coast. We are already looking forward to planning our next trip there, I would not consider staying anywhere else.

This was a perfect location for people who don’t want to stay in the touristy parts of Amalfi. It is only a bus ride away from Positano & Amalfi. The room was very clean and big, with ac & tv. Our room had a beautiful view of the sea and a private terrace. There was a heated pool and hot tub that was rarely used so we had it to ourselves. Each morning, a lovely breakfast buffet was prepared for us that was included with our stay. The staff was very helpful. When arriving, they met us with a car to help with luggage. Only downside is there are a lot of stairs to get to and from the villa so be prepared.

Great Hotel & Service

Excellent place, with an amazing view!! The service provided was extraordinary, always pending of my family needs, even when we were exploring the town! We were informed about best places to visit or information on how to use local transportation to move around. Simply, one of the best experiences, thank you to Giacomo and Tony for this great service and stay!!

Really enjoyed our stay here - A beautiful villa in a scenic and peaceful village. The room was clean, spacious and loved how the history of the villa was preserved within each room. It is a short walk/bus ride from two lovely beaches and many great, authentic restaurants. Giulio, Samuele and Gianluca were so friendly and helpful throughout our trip :)

Villa I’ll Frantonio was a perfect place to stay while touring the Amalfi coast. Giacomo and Cristina were great hosts and so very helpful providing information on activities, restaurants and transportation around the area. Breakfast was included and it was cooked fresh, hearty and included many local seasonal items. One could walk directly to the “Path of Gods” hiking trail right from the hotel which was a bonus as was the heated pool and sun loungers which afforded an amazing view of the ocean. 5 out of 5 stars for this wonderful boutique hotel.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. The room, the private grassy terrace, the pool with the ocean view, all absolutely stunning. The host was so kind and met our taxi up the hill and carried my very heavy backpack down to our room for me. Extremely welcoming and gave us info about bus times and transportation for the rest of our travels. The pool was lovely and had the best view, lounge chairs, and beverages available. It is up a hill so be ready to walk down into town, only about 0.5 miles down to many beautiful ocean view restaurants and some do have shuttle service back up. If you want to enjoy the best view in a gorgeous room and amazing hospitality, stay here rather than the very touristy Positano and Amalfi. The breakfast bar was beautiful and delicious- espresso, fresh juice and plenty of food options. This place felt like a dream! 10/10!

This villa was excellent staff very helpful and obliging lovely pool with beautiful views only downside is the steps up to the villa but local buses run frequently that can drop you off at top of hill then just a short walk and a few steps. But if you go to the Amalfi coast you have to be prepared for steps. Beautiful place

Beautiful hotel with great views

The hotel was excellent and very clean and comfortable. But very hard to find and to get to. Recommend more signs for directions closer to the roads for guests to know the best location to get dropped off at and which direction to walk from there. I would not recommend for elderly family members because of how many steps you have to climb up to get to the hotel
