You'll also find all the necessary pots, pans, cookware, and utensils to ensure a comfortable stay. Appliances include a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, stove, and dishwasher. Additional items such as a bottle opener, corkscrew, dish soap, dish towels, and laundry amenities (with detergent) are also provided.

Notable sites include Villa Louis, Fort Crawford Museum, and Dousman House, all located on the scenic island by the Mississippi River. Nearby parks such as Pikes Peak State Park, Effigy Mounds, and Wyalusing State Park provide excellent hiking opportunities.

While visiting one of the local apple orchards, be sure to hop on a scenic hayride through the colorful bluffs! Golf enthusiasts can tee off at one of the two courses within 8 miles: Prairie du Chien Country Club's 18-hole course or Barnyard 9's par 3 nine-hole course. Summer visitors can enjoy live bands at downtown bars and restaurants or attend Music in the Park on Thursday nights for live music along the river.
