Boutique place. Very clean and comfortable. Across the road from a beautiful beach. Cleaned the room every day. You can get take away from a lot of places near by and eat in the AC. Really enjoy our stay.

Delightful guest house fit our needs perfectly. Large family 2 parents, 4 kids. we got two rooms. Walking distance to corner grocery, restaurants, dive shop, and most importantly, Gold Coast beaches of Praslin! Just the right balance of space, nice patio, simple kitchen.

Don't stay here if you need wifi. Good location, friendly staff, good hot water, good shower, full kitchen, comfortable bed. Purified water provided. The room has A/C, although it is undersized for the space. Wifi went from none to terrible (15 minutes for a page to load) to occasionally good. HDMI input in TV doesn't work. As for the area: Beautiful beaches, walkable to restaurants. Terrible humidity and mosquitos. None of the restaurants on the island have enclosed dining with A/C to keep the mosquitos out.

Wonderful stay

Right from the start, I felt at home at the L‘Hirondelle. The room was very clean and decorated with style and love to details. We were in a Garden Room with still a good view to the sea which I requested and appreciate a lot. The staff, including owner, cleaning ladies and night security guard were all extremely friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic as well. Right over the street you find shady places on the beach. 5-10 minutes walk to restaurants, take- aways and supermarkets. Try all the exotic fruits from the fruit stands!

We had a very good stay. Free parking and very good wifi. They helped us with information where to go on the island and arranged tours for us. Everyone was very nice and helpful! Good breakfast that is served in the room. Very close to the beach and in a few minutes walk there are many resturants and supermarkets. Would stay here again!

Great location, clean, comfortable

A short 3 night stay, hotel is right in front of a beautiful beach and walking distance to several ATMs, mini-markets and restaurants. Location was quite good, hotel arranges trips. There is only breakfast served to your room so lunch / dinner is either eat out or cook yourself as it is a self catering type apartment. Seychelles is quite expensive and I would say this hotel is quite reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel, would suit couples, families or friends.

Great place with lovely owners and staff

L’Hirondelle was our first stay on the Seychelles and really raised the bar. Both the owners and staff were always friendly, accommodating and helpful with tips. We got the feeling that they genuinely cared about just us having an amazing stay. The hotel itself was very clean and the room was lovely with a postcard view of the ocean and palm trees. I can recommend getting the generous breakfast, which is prepared in your kitchen and served on the balcony.

Brilliant small guest house, amazing sea views

Lovely large apartment with great facilities. The balconies from the sea view rooms are amazing with very nice furniture. The kitchen is well equipped, although we mainly just walked 10 mins (out of the gate and left) to several lovely restaurants. The four poster bed is perfect and so pretty. Loved it! Would 100% recommend.

The staff were lovely, the accommodation was only and clean however, it's just too noisey. Spent 3 days tired due to lack of sleep. The noise from outside, either people shouting, loud music from cars. Not really the hotels fault but had I known before booking I would have stayed somewhere more quiet as I'm a light sleeper. Hope this helps someone.

Dies ist ein wunderbarer Platz. Das Zimmer war traumhaft und wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und mit frischen Blumen dekoriert. In der Küche findet man alles was man braucht. Der Standort ist perfekt. Es gibt einen Busstop genug Parkplätze, Restaurants und Supermärkte in der Nähe. Auch wird in 100 Metern Entfernung am späteren Nachmittag frischer Fisch von den lokalen Fischern verkauft, den man dann direkt selbst in der Wohnung zubereiten kann. Wir hatten das Frühstück dazugebucht, dann kommt am Morgen eine freundliche Dame und macht Kaffe und Eier in der Wohnungsküche. Ein wenig vermisst haben wir einen Grillplatz und ein bisschen mehr Auswahl beim Frühstück. Auch die Spiegeleier, sollten eigentlich so zubereitet werden, dass das Eigelb flüssig bleibt, das hat leider 3 mal nicht geklappt. Das ist aber Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Wir würden diese Unterkunft definitiv empfehlen. Ein toller Platz, mit ganz tollen Menschen, einem tollen Zimmer und schönem Strand.

Aktuell befindet sich eine Baustelle nebenan, so dass ab 8 Uhr geringfügig Baulärm zu hören ist, uns hat es jedoch nicht gestört. Ab und zu gab es auch kurzweilig mal 2 Stromausfälle und kaltes Wasser, ist wahrscheinlich auch auf die Baustelle zurückzuführen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Zimmer wurde täglich hergerichtet und das optional verfügbare Frühstück, was direkt im Zimmer zubereitet wurde, war lecker und bestand aus Rühreier oder Spiegeleier, 2 Toastscheiben, Marmeladen, Butter, Käse, etwas Süßem (Kuchenstück/Gepäck) und frischer Obstvariation. Dazu gab es dann Kaffee oder Tee für insgesamt 15€. Im Zimmer hat uns ausstattungsmäßig nur eine richtige Kaffeemaschine gefehlt, jedoch war alternativ ein mechanischer Kaffeesieb vorhanden. Die unteren Zimmer sind leider nicht sichtgeschützt und der anliegende Garten wurde auch als Durchgang genutzt, so dass man die Vorhänge zuziehen musste, um seine Privatsphäre zu wahren. Die Appartments sind nah am wunderschönen weiten Strand gelegen, das Meer war sogar leicht in Zimmer zuhören. Am Strand gibt es leider nicht so viele schattige Plätze, so dass man entweder früh aufstehen (10 Uhr am Strand war ausreichend) oder selbst mit Sonnenschirm dafür sorgen muss. Kleine Supermärkte und Restaurants bzw. kostengünstige Takeaways sind gut fussläufig in der Nähe erreichbar.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft grundsätzlich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und stets bemüht gewesen. Die Wohnung war schön geschnitten, sehr sauber und es wurde täglich gereinigt. Das Einzige, was aus unserer Sicht (Europäer) negativ war, ist, dass das Wasser zum Duschen an drei von fünf Tagen kalt kam (nicht einmal lauwarm) und der Wasserdruck in der Dusche, sobald wir auf heiß gedreht haben, kaum mehr vorhanden war.
