"Lantern Cottage was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. The layout and facilities had been very well thought out.
The shared courtyard was lovely to sit out in the sun. We were able to store our bikes there too, which we rode on the nearby Camel trail.
It was peaceful even though we were almost in the centre of Padstow. There were numerous bars and restaurants nearby all serving delicious food. There is also a Spar shop 1minute walk away handy for last minute supplies....
"The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent
However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows.
Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill.

"Beautiful house, really tastefully decorated and with everything you could want for a relaxed holiday. It was spotless and a lovely welcome pack awaited us on our arrival.Really well equipped kitchen, and lots of books and a few games meant you felt like you were staying in a home away from home. Perfect for a weeks get away with my older parents, 8 year old son and lab. Great location just a few minutes walk to the town (via a little cut through at the end of the road opposite). We have already recommended it and will definitely look to return. Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"Fantastic stay at Bloomfield. Everything was as described. The gift of scones and milk was much appreciated. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Outside shower was useful.It’s a 10 minute walk to beach (slightly uphill on way back). Parking is on street outside the property which involved some nifty parallel parking into a tight space. As others have mentioned, the steps up to the property may be tricky for elderly or more infirm guests.Farm shop directly opposite property and Padstow is only 5 minute drive."

"We had a very good stay at Hirst, the property was very clean and in perfect location to the main beaches and harbour with many great options to eat and explore.

"Friendly family run hotel. Perhaps a little dated but the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. And a decent shower
Staff were very friendly and helpful .
The hotel is just a five minute walk across fields from Trevone beach and coast path so ideally located for what we wanted.
Padstow is walkable. We took the longer coastal route, 6 to 8 miles depending which path you take. Coming back, we took the shorter 2 mile-route across the fields.
We stayed in Trevone for the evening to eat at the Beachside Café and listen to some local live music.

"Bay House was immaculate and clean upon our arrival. We had flowers , cake and milk in the fridge to welcome us. A nice touch.The house was perfect for our needs particularly the location being so close to the beach and village facilities. Communication with Alison was excellent , emails and texts were responded to very quickly. In summary, a great house for a family holiday and would highly recommend it."
