This cottage is a real gem set in the countryside of Bledlow. The owner has the house next door and was super friendly and helpful in helping us find a taxi (no Ubers here!). The house was charming and everything you need is available. Take advantage of the walks and hikes close by. We had 7 adults and everyone was comfy.

The staff make this old pub a unique experience: from check in, breakfast and the late check out offered by the room-cleaner, everyone treats visitors as special guests.

The reception staff was all amazing, very friendly and very helpful, night staff helped with any queries I had through the night also! Room was lovely, king size bed was great, sofa bed was a little uncomfortable but can’t really moan for a sofa bed, lovely sized bathroom and great lighting in both rooms! Pool and steam room was also lovely and clean with once again friendly and helpful staff, I would definitely recommend and if I go back to the same area I would definitely stay again! :)

Perfect for a one-night stay. Staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and very clean. The shower was great and the bathroom was spotless. Best part was the included breakfast - lots of choice and good quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

Stayed one night after a long drive through France and a ferry crossing, just to break up the journey. Arrived with tired kids and weary parents. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, the room was a good size and with good amenities. Breakfast was delicious. Overall, very impressed indeed. Far exceeded my expectations. I lived in England most of my life and never even knew this place existed. Researching some National Trust properties to visit discovered this hotel associated with Waddesdon Manor. What a gem of a find! We only stayed one night but could, and should, have stayed longer. The location is excellent and a short easy walk just across the fields to Waddesdon Manor which is a must visit in my view. Gorgeous place with wonderfully helpful staff and excellent food!

Location location location. It's lovely and a 2 minute walk to down town. Their outside seating is magnificent, and a front desk, and concierge/bell staff are first rate in a myriad of ways. Super helpful, kind, knowledgeable...make you feel most welcome. Overall... in appearance, it needs a little refresh, but it is very clean and the rooms have size and lots of light. Parking is more than ample, easy and close to the front desk/your room, so that's nice and easy to go back to your car...

The staff her could not be more welcoming and come across as genuinely invested in your stay. The place can get a bit overwhelmed when a large event like the wedding fills bar and breakfast to the brim, but relaxed attitude and willingness to take it in stride get you a long way to not minding. Clean rooms, friendly staff, amazing breakfast.

Molly at the front desk was cheerful, welcoming, and absolutely perfect to greet us after our long flight. Stewart is an absolute gem—sweet, kind, and someone who genuinely goes out of his way to help in any way he can.
