Quiet, Licensed, Clean & Affordable Cottage Studio with Kitchenette

  • This charming, affordable, and clean little unit is one of the few free-standing units within the Paniolo Complex. It is situated in a quieter area, as it faces the Prince Golf Course rather than the street. Being a single-level unit, there are no neighbors above to create noise.
    The unit features a lanai that overlooks the golf course, a California King bed, a full bathroom, and a kitchenette equipped with an apartment-sized refrigerator. Most days, a lovely breeze from Anini Beach flows through the unit. Given that this side of the island tends to be cooler, we have never needed air conditioning, as the standing fans provide ample comfort. Additionally, the complex boasts a clean, warm pool and a BBQ area by the pool.

Cozy and central

A cozy and quiet spot facing the golf course. It's exactly as pictured, clean and equipped with lots of cooking equipment. Having a neighbour be a second point of contact gave me a deep sense of security S I was travelling alone.

Beautiful tropical hideaway

This was our first time to stay in this beautiful VRBO. The location was perfect for activities. The space was comfortable, very nicely decorated and had everything we needed while we were there. The location was walking distance from a bay where we snorkeled and got to see tropical fish and sea turtles. The host, Joy greeted us with a friendly welcome and let us know we can contact her with any needs/concerns during our stay.We would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful tropical hideaway!!

Perfect couple spot

Nothing fancy but a nice clean property in a good complex. Close to main highway. No AC was a worry but windows open a fan during day it was very comfortable. A great value and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Cute homie stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The check in process was easy and understandable, which was nice. There’s pool access, and a membership card that provides a discount at the foodland down the road. There isn’t AC, and the listing accurately shows that, but there’s a fan in the VRBO that worked well to keep us cool. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again!

Very pretty studio

I really enjoyed staying here! The artwork and lanai garden are lovely. The arrangements are a little unorthodox, but once you get oriented you have everything you need. Joy, the next door neighbor, was REALLY a joy! She was always available for questions and helped me get the cable TV working.

Week in Princeville

Comfortable accommodations. 10 minutes from Hanalei and 30 from Kapaa town. Unit has no a/c, but we were very comfortable nonetheless. Well-supplied and great neighbors Les and Joy eager to help with any issues. Would highly recommend as a value property on the N. Shore. Host Val was a pleasure to work with also.

Perfect stay

My wife and I spent a week at this lovely property. The apartment had everything needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. We loved the decor and the feel of the entire place. We’re grateful for the beach equipment and gear that were provided. It was also a pleasure meeting and chatting with Joy (the neighbor). The location of the property was perfect for us. We had no trouble getting to the places we wanted to visit from there. If you’re planning a trip to Kauai just go ahead and book this place. We highly recommend it and would love to stay here again!

Amazing place, great community

Prefect place to stay for two. Our neighbors Joy and Les were awesome people. Neighborhood was beautiful and felt really safe and quiet, everyone was really friendly. Tons of beaches to play at and beautiful scenery everywhere. Heated pool good for nighttime swimming. Comfortably close to grocery stores, restaurants and shops. My favorite thing about the rental was the amazing view of the mountains right down the road at the local Princeville park. Loved the people I met and the things I saw!

Wonderful condo

I landed in Kauai without accommodations and Valerie was very responsive. She managed to have the place ready for me within a few hours of my booking. It had everything I needed to prepare my own meals, hit the beach, go snorkeling and get a good nights rest. Walking distance to Princeville shops/restaurants as well as Anini beach and Queens Bath. Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay in beautiful Kauai

We had everything we needed in this sweet studio duplex. Our host was very responsive and the neighbor Joy was very friendly and helpful whenever we had any questions. The place itself was sufficient for cooking simple meals. The bed is comfortable and the fan was quite useful for sleeping. The location is excellent. Unfortunately we didn't have much of a view because they're doing construction on the golf course and they've put a green wall/tarp up, but it's still surrounded by beautiful plants and the area is very nice. We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely come back again!

We arrived late aft. Sunday & left early morning the following Sunday. We were greeted by Joy our neighbor & she made both of us feel quite welcome & was a treasure trove of useful information. The unit was extremely comfortable & had everything we needed to feel at home. The roosters were quite annoying but they were everywhere we went. Excellent 38th Anniversary vacation.

The property is in a great location, with a very nice pool. However there was no place for 2 people to sit side-by-side; a loveseat would have been preferable to an armchair. Also more lighting is needed at the eating area. Lastly, there was an extra damage protection cost that was not indicated until after the rental charges were finalized; in all our travels, this is the only place where we incurred this kind of charge. Our overall experience was greatly enhanced by our kind and helpful neighbours.

The place did the trick for what we needed. It is pretty small but that showed on the pictures so we knew what to expect. It is well furnished and we appreciated the hot plate to cook as well as the snorkeling equipment. Location is very good, walkable distance to a close beach, easy parking in front of the unit. I agree with the fact that it could use a little update/refresh, and cleanliness could be better (especially if you look behind furnitures). Overall a cheaper option that did the trick for us since we were not spending the day in the unit anyway.

Perfectly Positioned Princeville Property

This rental was perfect for our stay on North Shore with quick access to bars and restaurants in Princeville, Hanalei, and Kilauea. It is very quiet (until the roosters crow in the morning 😁), clean and comfortable, but no A/C, so keep that fan running and open up for cross breezes. We made great use of the Foodland membership card to purchase some staples. The fridge, hot plate, and toaster oven were perfect for our cooking needs. Val is very responsive and quick to message. Our nextdoor neighbor Joy was a sweetheart and a great local contact for this rental. The pool was very comfortable and a great way to cool off. Anini Beach was easy to get to, but part of the path is a little steep and wet, so consider that in your footwear getting down there

Soft Landing in Kauai

Just to start everything was just as advertised and I agree with 99% of the reviews that were posted on the Vrbo site. Everything we wanted to do was nearby, our hosts Joy and Les were a great help and super friendly and full of information. The kitchenette was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need and a 10 minute walk to the grocery store that had everything to be could possibly need for two weeks. This place came equipped with an umbrella, several chairs, some fins and a boogie board that were of the highest quality A quick drive to as many beach options as you want Max five minutes and if you want a good workout and don’t mind walking down a steep cliff and back up, Anini beach is 10 minute walk. If you can wait till Saturday, there are fresh produce farmers markets on every corner from Princeville to Ka’a. A bonus is this property is only one story so there’s no one above you and the caretakers are next-door and they are very quiet overall, it’s an excellent price for what you get if there was one downfall it’s lacking a washer dryer, but we didn’t let that get us down 10 stars for us and we will definitely book this house again.
