October Vacation 2024

So peaceful and quiet in Princeville. The condo is very spacious and the views from the patio watching the surfers was so relaxing. The updates to this unit are wonderful, there are 2 separate spots to work if you must while on vacation like we did so that was very handy, and the bathrooms and showers are like a spa. Also loved the bar and wine beer frig came in really handy! We will be back soon!

Great place!

We had a great time and loved the layout of the unit. Spacious, clean and modern with everything you could need in the kitchen. We are a family of four and there was plenty of room. The shower was great and the beds were comfy. It was nice to have the pool as well as hideaway beach for swimming and snorkeling. Close to town and other beaches. The view from the deck was awesome too! Easy check in and out. Thank you!

5 stars and incredible stay!!!

This property was absolutely perfect for our visit to Princeville. The unit is gorgeous and has everything a group or family would need. We loved using the kitchen which was all top of the line and so luxuriously done. The two bedrooms were perfect for our family as we were traveling with our kids ages 7 &10. The location is great and our kids enjoyed the pool and the trail down to Hideaway Beach was a fun adventure. Gorgeous beach and this property was absolutely perfect for our family and stay. We hope we can come back in the future!!

Only improvement would be redoing the outside patio. The inside is gorgeous. The view is fantastic. The outside tile is cracked with weeds growing in it. Kind of diminishes one of the most important aspects of the experience.

Relaxing stay!

The condo is clean, well stocked with what has been identified on the website and has an awesome view of the north shore. We loved the nice ocean breeze, the sound of the waves, and watching the surfers. Comfortable bed and great shower water pressure :). Stargazing was incredibly peaceful and amazing. Except for the noise that sounded like furniture being moved around in the above neighbors, and us losing sleep for one night from it, our overall stay was great. Thank you Jeff and Shana!

Great property. Would come back!

The property was great and as described. Unfortunately the A/C had broken down just before we arrived. The owner/manager let us know before we arrived, and luckily it wasn't too hot, and open windows and fans were fine. They also allowed us to have a late checkout which made all the difference as we had an evening flight home. Tennis courts and pool were great. And the snorkelling at Hideaways Beach below was great. Swam with turtles!

Kauai dream come true

This apartment is everything you could want it to be and more. The view is incredible and will take your breath away every morning when you wake up, and every time you come home from a fun outing on the island. The apartment lives up to the pictures in every way, and then some. Visiting with my family of 4, it provided the perfect base camp for our trip to the north shore; we regularly cooked breakfast and dinner in the apartment, and would spend most evenings on the patio, watching the marvelous sunset. The apartment is well appointed, and provided plenty of space for all of us to be together, or spend time separately, quietly reading, resting, or doing our own thing. Loved it!

Everything was PERFECT

Extremely nice condo and location at Pu'u Poa in Princeville. Everything was amazing here, and by far nicer than our second condo on the south shore (albeit more expensive). The bed was super comfortable, the unit was spotlessly clean, and the AC blew ice cold which was incredible. View was perfect of the ocean, grill on patio was great for steak dinners, and everything in the condo worked as expected. Tons of gear and towels stocked at the condo. Owners were very great with communicating everything to us prior to our stay, and we never had to reach out for anything. This was an amazing place to stay in Kauai, princeville was our favorite location. Close to a great grocery store and all North Shore activities!

Everything you need plus a pretty great view

The location is on a quiet area of Princeville. The condo had with a super clean interior and included everything we needed to enjoy our stay (coffee maker, toaster, full spacious kitchen). The living space is wide open and perfect for feeling relaxed. The rain at night sounded beautiful with the skylights in the living room. The views were amazing and although the currents were a bit too strong to swim while we were there (incoming storms) hideaway beach was beautiful and will have to come back again to enjoy. Overall great space, didn’t use the second bedroom but both bathroom and bedroom #2 looked just as nice as the first. Perfect if you had kids with you.

Very Nice Unit

We enjoyed our stay at Lotus very much. We have rented at Puu Poa on a number of occasions in the past. The units are spacious and the views of the ocean are great. While Lotus doesn't have a "Bali Hai" view, one can catch the sunsets over the mountains and Hanalei Bay by walking a very short distance. The unit, including the kitchen, is very well furnished. Two soft complaints: the Spectrum TV control did not work well. Need instruction on how to access "regular" TV. Second, it would be nice to have keypad access vs. a lockbox and key. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Outstanding view from a luxurious condo!

This place is exactly as beautiful and luxurious as it appears from the photos. The condo is kept in pristine condition. The kitchen is beautiful, and is fully stocked with anything and everything you could want to prepare meals. The master bathroom is beautiful, and includes a large shower with two rainfall shower heads. The massive windows provide an amazing view of the ocean, and while the sunset may not be directly visible from the patio, you can take a short walk along the grassy lawn for a perfect view from the east side of the complex. It was nice to have A/C to keep us cool during warmer parts of the day, and there were ample fans to keep air moving throughout the unit. The location is great. We enjoyed being a short drive from the beautiful town of Hanalei, and we never had a problem finding a parking place in the condo's parking lot. The owners provided beach towels, chairs, a cooler, and other items that we used on our trips to the beach. The water temperature in the resort's pool was nice and warm. We loved our stay here, and would consider staying here again on our next visit to Kauai!
