"Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and polite. The room itself was spacious and clean. One issue I had was my shower screen door didn’t close properly and left a bit of a puddle just outside. No big deal, shower was easy to use and the rain shower was good. The amenities smelt lovely. It was far enough away to be quiet, away from the city centre, but close enough to walk there. Excellent transport links as the Brignole train station is a 5min walk, the airport bus stops there and the bus terminus to anywhere is also located there. Highly recommend and would definitely return. "

"Staff is amazing (especially Leo and Carlina). Hotel is beautiful. Room is large and comfortable (great bed and great shower). Breakfast was wonderful. Kitchen stays open late for late arrivals and food was delicious. 5 minute walk to the sea, so great location. Parking in Camogli can be difficult, especially on a busy weekend. A couple of garages above the hotel that are a little cheaper than the hotel parking if you can find them. "

"This hotel is the perfect location to everything! Trains only 12 min walk. Ferry to other areas is less than that! Restaurants all within walking distance. Front desk staff was very helpful. Daily breakfast was very good and staff ready for your Expresso, cappuccino or latte order. Room was small but expected. Patio to sea view a treat! Definitely would stay again. "

"Nice hotel close to the beach and marina. Rooms were nice, clean and has an amazing shower. Bed was a bit hard for my liking but everything else was great. Breakfast was only 12 euros a person and had a nice variety. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the excelsior palace. Beautiful hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful and always on hand. We arrived and were showed to our rooms with a gift waiting for us on arrival. Breakfast was great aswell. I wouldn’t say the rooms were soundproof. We could hear our neighbour on the phone and the people above but thankfully I already were ear plugs at night. The only thing I would suggest changing would be the paper cups in the room with the kettle. For a 5 star hotel I would really expect ceramic mugs. we would definitely reccomend staying here and would stay again. "
