PRIVATE OCEANFRONT GETAWAY - LARGE DECK, STUNNING VIEWS, JUST STEPS TO THE OCEAN

This lovely home we call Stonehaven is serene, secluded, scenic, sunny, spacious and situated on a one acre wooded lot - only steps away from the shoreline. As you walk in, you will be greeted by the spectacular ocean view. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with a king size bed and a petite / private room with a twin bed.

Walk into the living area and there is a cathedral ceiling with windows from top to bottom and a futon that comfortably sleeps one. Go upstairs to the spacious loft with two twin beds, one with a pull-out twin bed. There’s plenty of room to sit and watch a movie. During high tide, look out to the ocean and you will feel as if you are on a cruise liner…. without the sway of course.

We had an amazing stay at Stonehaven! The house was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and ocean view was breath taking! Tom was an amazing host and was incredibly responsive. Lovely stay in Maine on the coat

Our group was a family of three generations ranging from 20-80. The house was very clean and was perfect for our stay. We checked out Acadia, nearby fishing villages, and the Schoodic Peninsula. It felt remote yet close to what we wanted to see at the same time and the views are beautiful.

The house is very well appointed, with dramatic ocean views and very good privacy. The house is spacious, the bed in the master was very comfortable, and the grounds are beautiful--clearly a properly maintained property. The host was very communicative and helpful and provided great suggestions to take full advantage of the area.

Truly a piece of heaven

We are in love! My whole family loved the place, the beach, the fire pit, the stars, the morning view spotting some whales, the snow on the neighborhood Definitely the best place we have stayed!!! Once we are done visiting the national parks on our bucket list, we will definitely comeback for more…

Spectacular Ocean Home

We experienced a little slice of heaven in this amazing ocean-side home. Tom was a great host and provided us with tons of information about the home and all about the area. We were excited when we had a rainy day one of the days so we could relax and enjoy reading, doing a puzzle and watching the waves roll in. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My SO and I fully enjoyed out stay at this very pleasant property. The accommodations met or exceeded our needs and the coastal views, coupled with good weather and the spectacular Atlantic, were nothing short of inspiring. The road trip up and back (10+ hours, one-way) was tough on our backs, but we are undaunted and hope to return in the near future.

We’ve been visiting the Schoodic Peninsula for years, but this was our first VRBO experience and we couldn’t have found a better home. The small harbor towns and the house are complete gems. We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful home and visited Acadia National Park, including The Raven’s Nest which was a recommendation by the owner, Tom. Just stunningly gorgeous! The house is lovely, has everything you could possibly need or want and the views are amazing. Tom is a very accommodating host and the neighbor, Bill, is a very nice man that is available if you have any concerns at all. We just loved it, only wish we could’ve stayed longer! Will definitely be back.

Rejuvenated!

My best friend and I wanted a relaxing retreat this year and Stonehaven was exactly that. The views are breathtaking, the sound of the ocean soothes and the location offers something for everyone within an hour. We all slept amazingly well, never turned on the tv and the property had everything we needed. Communication with Tom and some tips from neighbor Bill was easy and welcome. For once we had a vacation that didn’t make us feel like we needed to recover from.
